He Makes Me Feel

Chapter 13:

"So does he like you? Luke that is," Louis asks as him and Niall are eating their lunch once Niall had told him all the things that happened the night before. Niall nibbles on a chip as he asks himself the same question.

"I don't know," he shrugs sipping some of his soda.

"Well I mean if he told you all that stuff about Jasper and their crazy mother he must trust you," Louis says looking at his friend with an encouraging smile. Niall just snorts.

"Right."

"He must if he made you swear that you love Jasper," Louis adds and Niall feels his face heat up regretting telling Louis that part of the story. He knew that Louis would just tease him with it and would pester him to tell Jasper. something that made Niall's stomach fill with butterflies but also flip with nervousness.

"But that now that you know you love him, what are you gonna do?"

Niall frowned, "what do you mean?"

"When are you gonna tell Jasper?" Louis asks silently chuckling when he sees Niall fidget in his chair as he pushes around the food on his plate.

"It's not like I can just go up to him and confess my love for him! I'll do it when the time is right."

"What do you mean you can't? That's how all relationships start! And when will you know when the time is right?" Louis challenges and Niall rolls his eyes tired of all of Louis's questions. It felt like he was out with his mother rather than his friend. He was glad he had friends that cared like Louis but he didn't want to regret telling him about Jasper.

"I just will," Niall states signaling the end of that conversation and as much as Louis wants to say more he has to bite his tongue sensing that Niall was done talking.

"So when is your parents anniversary party? El wants to have time to find something to wear."

"This Saturday," Niall answers tapping his fingers on the table looking out the window of the cafe he swore he'd never return too. guess he didn't keep that promise.

"Cool. have you invited Jasper yet?"

"Nope."

"Why not?"

"Jesus Louis! If it makes you stop asking questions I'll ask him when I see him, ok?" Louis nodded avoiding eye contact as he felt his cheeks heat from Niall's outburst. He didn't mean to make Niall upset. He was just asking a question. obviously the wrong one if Niall reacted that way.

Louis excused himself to the bathroom and Niall feels a bit guliy watching his friend leave flustered. He wanted to stop him an apologize but before he could that the bell on the front door of the cafe chimed and Niall's heart fluttered.

Jasper walked in looking as great as ever and looking a lot better than he had the day before. His cheeks were pink but it must just be a permanent tint. His blue eyes were dazzling and his bottom lip was between his teeth.

As Niall looked at Jaspers pink lips, he touched his own, remembering the way Jaspers warm forehead felt against them. He touched them wishing he could feel that sensation and heat run through the his body. It was something Niall hasn't feel in a while but with Jasper, it just felt ten times better.

Jasper walked to the front counter and talked to the barista who was there. Niall couldn't hear what they were saying but it must've been something good as he saw Jaspers breathtaking smile appear. Niall watched Jasper the entire time, trying not to be creepy. He watched as the barista handed Jasper some papers and the way Jasper looked at them disbelievingly.
