" He's the one who called me on my 18th birthday Max said like it was nothing he knew about Nathan this whole time i felt betrayed so i pulled away from him.
"Mike "Max said with his word in a whimper.
" you knew this whole time ?" i asked
"I knew of Nathan not that he was your brother, "Max said trying to smile
" so you never knew who his mother was ?" i asked
" i didn't know but ...." he said avoiding my eyes
"but what ?" I said through my teeth
" don't give me that tone Micheal Ayden Underwood but the moment I saw your mother I saw Nathan and Gio mixed together I never asked her about it it just seemed like a sore subject to her, " Max said
"you talked to her about him ?" I asked
"no we just talked about the time she stayed in my house when trying to be way from your father before you were born " he said grabbing my hand and smiling his sweet smile to get me to smile at him. but i feel betrayed. not by Max but by my mother
"Mike you are my husband im not going to keep this big of a secret from you again " he said kissing my check but i really upset that i had a brother mom kept from me why did she protect him from Ayden wrath and leave us to suffer the Underwood name how am i suppose to feel?
