Quirk: siren-when singing the user of the quirk can hypnotize people if focusing or create illusions. If not use properly person will become obsessed with quirk user, if someone can hear them other than themselves they are able to turn into a bird form (striving off the fact that sirens in the original source material are part bird not fish). This bird form is far stronger, can fly, has impeccable hearing, and sight, as well as speed.

Y/N POV
All right time for the entrance exam...why do I feel like a main character right now hmm whatever. Me and shoto walk over to where we will be explained how the exam will work. I sit down in my assigned seat and it just so happens to be next to shoto.

A woman walks onto the stage and I recognize her as the r-rated hero midnight. "Hello there examinees today I shall be the one to explain to you the task at hand. There will be a race to decide who can enter into the prestigious hero School UA. You will have assigned numbers and the hero there shall call you up to the racing line. Once they give you the okay you'll race, your place will decide the likelihood of you getting into UA and which class you'll be in."the r-rated hero had finished speaking and I immediately got excited. Mike work literally needs me to be around people for them to hear and can make me go incredibly fast.

I had gotten number 31 and so I simply place it on my chest like I was told to do. Shoto and a few other kids were called up, however I was not which I was thankful for I don't want to fight my brother. I watched with anticipation believing that photo would get first place. And at first it looked that way that was until some wind kid got past shoto, and how I was impressed.

I walked up to the guy and introduced myself. "Hey I'm y/n todoroki and you are?" "I am Inasa Yoarashi!"he shouted and then bowed hitting his head against the pavement. "AHH NO NEED TO BOW AND ARE YOU OKAY‽" "Oh I'm completely fine I just got a bit excited that a todoroki could be nice." I breathed a breath of relief knowing that he was okay.

Shoto's POV
I had seen y/n talking to the guy who beat me. I can tell he's trying to flirt with her I can just tell, I need to get her away from him. "Ahem why are you talking to my sister?" I said not trying to hide the annoyance in my voice. "Oh I was merely introducing myself, and you would be?" The loser had said to which I merely shook my head and said "none of your business,".

Y/N POV
I didn't know why shoto I was being rude but I knew I had to intervene "Shoto stop being mean, he was just trying to be nice."suddenly my name was called by midnight so I had to go over to the lineup. I knew I would have to sing and have someone hear it to be able to go into my bird form so I did the most logical thing."INASA CAN YOU LISTEN TO ME SING SO I CAN USE MY QUIRK‽" He nodded and came closer so he would be able to hear me, and then I got into position and started to sing.

I was immediately able to turn into my siren form and the second midnight said to take off I did. I moved at the speed of light, so fast that I hadn't even realized I had already made it to the finish line. I looked behind me and saw that all the other participants here were far behind looking at me with shocked faces. Though they weren't the only ones everyone seems shocked on how fast I moved. I then realized my clothes had torn again, 'f*** why does my siren form have to be bigger than my normal form' whatever I can always get some different clothes. But shoto seemed a whole lot more mad about it "oh come on not again. Everyone look away now!"

Me and shoto headed home and I stayed in my siren form until I got back to my room thus not to flash anyone. I got to my room turned back into my normal form which still had feathers on me but I was a lot smaller and I put on some clothes. Man I can't wait to get the letters back from you a telling us that we passed, even if I'm still a little nervous.

I would like to clarify something about the quirk because even if you're not focusing on it anyone who hears you sing while using your quirk will become obsessed with you it just is a whole lot more noticeable and far more if you're specifically trying to do that thank you for your time.
