R2D2's robotic beeps goes off.
"Who the hell is texting me at 3 on a saturday morning" I grumble to myself.
August. Right I should have guessed.
'May, plees wud uu com pik me up. A.'
'I'm on my way.'
Jeez, the drunk idiot, why couldn't he just sleep at Mike's house? Argh!
I grab a hoodie and a pair of boots and I tiptoe down the old wooden hallway. I must not wake up the parents... They'd probably ground August for a week, two at the most for drinking. I grab my keys and tiptoe to the front door.
I get in the car put my uggs and hoodie on and take the hand brake off, slowly rolling backwards down the drive. Once on the street I start up my old VW beetle and I'm on my way.
'I'm here'
'Pleas come for me :).'
'Fine.'
He's probably pissed out of his mind, I think to myself. I get and make my way through the mass of drunk high school students on the front lawn. The music was pumping at full volume inside. Music without lyrics only a beat that people go crazy for.
"August" I call over the noise.
"May! Your brother didn't say you was here? Where you been?"
"Hi Trent, yeah yeah, where is August?" I say pushing the beer-smelling senior off my shoulder.
"He's with the guys! So tell me, what you been up-"
I walk away just before he drunkedly drapes his arm around my shoulder. I walk down the hallway, plastered with couples sucking each others faces off. I get into the lounge and August is drunkedly telling jokes.
"August, come, we're going." I say and grab his thick arm. "August!"
"Shhh! May-bear, five minutes, this one is a killer!"
"Fine, five minutes then I'm leaving, with or without you."
August gleefully continues his joke. I make my way to the dining room, keeping my brother in view. I look down at my phone and start looking through my twitter updates.
"Hey May, never thought your be at a party like this one." Someone says behind me making me jump. "Sorry. I scared you didn't I."
I look around and see a guy who looked familiar but i didn't know, he was tall with dark blonde, slightly long hair and green eyes. "Uh-yeah, partying isn't really my thing... Um, what's your name again?"
He laughed quite loudly then "Sorry, I thought you knew the guy who's been over at your house most of the summer name?" His slight smirk disappeared as he registered the blank look on my face "Blaise" he stuck out his hand and I shook it. "Have you seriously not noticed the six guys who have been at your house the whole summer, including yesterday?"
I blush "I... Well... No, I didn't notice.. Really." I look Down at my feet my cheeks growing warmer and warmer.
"Ah, well, now you know" he laughed, he sounded pretty sober, very unlike everyone else here. "And I'm guessing you're the sober driver here to take us home?"
"Uh, August did not mention I was being a taxi tonight." I said shocked, I glance back at him and he's still speaking to the slutty girls draped around most of the rugby team. "He thinks I'm his slave, just because I'm 42 seconds younger than him. The asshole."
"Haha, don't worry, it's only me and Sam who you have to take home, we'll be sleeping at your house so don't worry your pretty little mind."
"Just you and Sam then? Okay, go grab Sam, I'll grab August and I'll meet you out front by my car." I said and headed toward my brother without his reply.
I grabbed Augusts' arm and pulled him off the couch. "Woah, I'm not done!"
"Well I am, we're going now." I pulled him through the throng of drunk teenagers, down the crowded hall and outside. I pushed him into the backseat of my beatle. Blaise came around the corner holding up a very drunk Sam and shoved him in the backseat next to my brother.
"Roll down the windows and put their faces facing out so that they don't puke in my car."
"Will do."
He did as I asked. I don't know how but two incredibly buff teenage boys were able to fit in the backseat of my two door Beatle. Incredible.
We drove in silence back to my house. Blaise kept looking over at me and I couldn't help but blush. We got to my house and I parked.
"Okay, so my parents are asleep, we can't make too much noise okay?"
"Got it, I think we should leave these two in the downstairs guest room and I'll sleep in Trent's bed."
"Okay, good idea."
After we got the two heavy boys in their bed, Blaise and I made our way upstairs. "Night." I whispered as I reached my door.
"Night." He whispered back.
I got back to my bed, kicked off my shoes, pulled off my hoodie and got back into bed.
I falll asleep immediately.
