Still feeling the pain surge through your jaw you get up on your knees and look up at who sent you flying.
And you knew exactly who it was.
The Prowler had actually managed to sneak up on you.
Damn I almost got slumped.
"Y/N! You good?!" -N
"I don't like having cosplayers invading my heists."
His robotic voice is soft but has enough of a threatening undertone as you stand up on your feet. He steps closer and shoots a grappling hook as you move to your right to dodge it.
But he knocks your head with his hand with a WHACK!
...He had expected you to move to your right.
Catching your balance, your head rings as the steel made contact.
Spidey senses are not fucking TINGLING.
-"Dude you're getting your ass handed to you."- Nadia's still on the line as you wince.
You hear him huff again as he speaks again:
"Let's just make this quick. I'm having a good night. So don't-"
You cut him off by jumping and kicking him in his mask.
"Oh yeah?"
You web onto one of the lights and lift off the floor breaking the fuse. And you hang on the ceiling knowing it was pitch black only lit up by the room with the medical supplies.
"So am I."
His head turns to the direction of your voice and throws a gadget up there and you move swiftly to dodge it as he continues throwing blades up onto the ceiling.
He throws a round gadget up and you catch it quickly realizing it was a mini bomb. It lights up and he sees your mask for a split second before you throw it at him and you watch it explode. He puts his elbows up though covering his face and you shoot a web so you're inches behind him.
"Where did she go.."
.....
"Follow the cold shiver running down your spine."
You whisper behind him. He tenses and turns around as you pull him by his braids and flip him- tossing him in the air for a moment before you body slam him so he's lying on his back on the floor. The floor shakes a little and it cracks. Hearing him grunt a little you decide to try and hurt him even more.
You slam your heel into the floor as he rolls away just in time.
"Nice quip spider woman!"-N
You chuckle and step closer to him as he quickly gets up from the ground and lands on his feet. He dusts himself off with his hand and you watch as his white eyes narrow at you. His voice is more serious now.
"Who are you supposed to be?"
"Say your friendly neighborhood Spider-Woman!" -N
"Ahem...Spider-Woman."
You finally tell him and put your fists up. And he protracts his claws staring at you in silence and you see it light up a little.
"What? Not gonna introduce yourself?"
He gauntlets whir up again as he suddenly rushes towards you- and you do the same as he jumps and slams his fists onto the floor as you step back feeling the floor crack a little.
"I'm sure you know who I am."
You punch him and shoot a web so you're above him again as you land another kick on him.
"Wow. What a narcissist!"
And you travel a few feet from him on the web.
Landing on your feet across from him. He grunts in frustration as the purple on his mask flicker. And he regains his balance this time.
