Hello again my lovely readers! I'm Sugar / Sweet, the author for this story.
I've been wanting to try my hand at a platonic 'X Reader' (or '+ Reader') for a while; I even had a few drafts for a BeeDuo one before they stopped interacting.
I also feel like I'm burned out with "6 Feet Under". I promise I will finish it (eventually), but in the meantime, I want to work on other projects!
So I'm pleased to present 'Helianthia', an Empires-centered Pearlescentmoon + Reader!!
The story will follow the establishing of Helianthia as a proper kingdom, with Y/N aiding Queen Pearl as her right hand and the land's ambassador.
Some essential information: This story will be written in 2ND PERSON PERSPECTIVE. The worldbuilding for Gilded Helianthia takes some inspiration from @/coveredinsun and @/talon_wing's Roseblings Cinematic Universe on AO3, particularly from this fic (https://archiveofourown.org/works/38935563), which I highly recommend. While there's A LOT of differences between their versions of Pearl's kingdom and my own, I still thought it worth mentioning. Y/N will be interacting the most with Pearl, but due to their position, will occasionally travel to other empires. For a good portion of the story, Gilded Helianthia will have no 'formal' name, and be referred to as either 'the Smallholding', 'Pearl's Smallholding', or 'the Farming Empire'. There will probably be some political inaccuracies.
Please do not mention this story in any of the Empires members or Hermits' chats. If there are elements in the story of which Pearl or any of the other CCs are uncomfortable with, please let me know, and I will delete or change them ASAP.
