"Baby, you are fireeeeeworks. Come one, let it oooouuut you're heart! And let the sky go boom, boom, bo--," a loud bang stop the young teen singing. The teen fell over the bed he was dancing on roughly. A door was open, revealing the source of the disruption.

"Shut up, Seth! I don't need your stinkin' singing in the morning," a teenager his age towered over the fallen Seth. The teen grinned at him.

"So what? You gonna bite my ass off, little Alpha?" teased the teen. His blond hair nearly covered his brown eyes. The other teen rolled his eyes with his arms crossed.

"I don't like the taste of your ass. It tastes like stupidity and I don't you infecting me with it," the chestnut haired man said. Green eyes gleamed with annoyance but it did not cover his handsome features.

The blond pouted. "Aw, you're no fun these days, Kyle. Where's the little shy boy who would brave up against a baby squirrel," Seth mockingly said. Kyle rolled his eyes again and picked up the teen.

"We don't have time for this. I won't question why you are in my house but school is about to start. There's going to be a big announcement," Kyle walked out of the room with Seth tailing behind him, watching his back like he would always do.

"I heard it's about that exchange program. Chicks from Japan are so hot," Seth grinned. Kyle would've frowned but agreed with him.

"I guess so but I already have Natalie. I don't need anyone else. Because I'm sure that Nat is my mate. Just you wait," Kyle said. His mind now on his girlfriend. They arrived in a red sports car and drove off.

Seth grimaced but it went unnoticed by Kyle. Seth sighed with his hand on the wheel and eyes on the road. "Well, as you're future Beta. I think you are way too old fashioned. I mean, yeesh. Getting glued to someone like that but it's your life," Kyle raised an eyebrow but didn't answer. They arrived and parked in front of the school.

(Kyle's PoV)

What did he mean by that? Oh yeah, Seth isn't too big on the ideas of mates. Oh well, it's his loss. All I have to do is wait for my birthday to come which is in a week. I'm sure that Natalie is my mate since we have been dating for one year and five months now.

'I mean, she's beautiful with her long blonde hair and sparkly blue eyes. Her curvy body gives her a beautiful aura and her personality is amazing. She's nice, kind, caring, helpful, fun, smart, incredibly gor--' my thoughts were cut off.

"We're here. Now get your werewolf butt out of my car and stop daydreaming about your girl toy," I twitched at what he called her.

"Hey! Don't go--" again, I was cut off by Seth's car honking at me. I got out and so did Seth. He's my best friend and future Beta. He always has my back but he is always goofing off and playing around with other girls. He should like having a mate but since his dad, Beta Shawn, is now mateless since his mom died. His idea of mates is pretty twisted but I let that slide. His birthday has already passed but he still haven't found his mate, whether he likes it or not. Anyways, I still wonder about the announcement today. Who's going to go to Japan? Maybe some meek junior or jockey senior?

I shrugged. Not my problem. I knew Father wouldn't send me to Japan. Political crisis with the Japanese wolves there.

"You're thinking about those wolves in Japan, aren't ya?" I jumped a little but regained my posture. I got to stop getting to deep in my thoughts.

"How do you know? Did your dad tell you?" I said to him as we walked to the gym. The headmaster was going announce who's going.

"Nah... By the look on your face. It's pretty clear to me. Besides, no need to worry them. I heard that the negotiator in our pack is going. I think the same would go to the other party," he's right. Father thinks that it would be good to have an alliance with that side of the world. Luckily, a few members of the school board are members of our pack. The Eclipse pack.

"No surprise there. Half of the school and town are members of our pack, after all," I said. Seth nodded at me.

We're already at the gym. That was fast. Guess talking and thinking really makes time go faster.

We sat down on the bleachers as the headmaster came into view. A large man he is.

(Normal PoV)

"Morning students. I would like to thank you for coming here," the students looked bored. Probably because listening a speech is boring.

Silence answered him. The headmaster sighed. "Right, I'll get right to it. As you all know that every year, our school and the school from Japan would randomly pick a number of students. Those students would go to the other school for six months," it started to get a lot more louder. Cheerleaders looked hyped, jocks smirking, nerds sighing, emos glaring and all the other stereotypes did what they did.

"Quiet down!" They didn't. The headmaster looked like he was about to blow a fuse. He took out a large bullhorn and shouted through it.

"I SAID, QUIET DOWN! RIGHT NOW!" Now the students shut up. The headmaster rubbed his forehead. Waiting for a future migraine.

"Not what I want right now. It's too early in the morning," he muttered. "Anyways, you will not be there to goof off nor do something I know you teenagers like to do these days," a few people looked at other in question. "You will be there to learn and experience their cultures," most of the student body groaned in annoyance.

"Now then, here are the people who would go," he looked at his paper.

"Peter Jackal," an moody and glaring boy looked up. Black mascara going with his black hair and eyes. An emo.

"Lizzie Carrison," a blonde with green eyes smirked in her small outfit. A cheerleader.

"Emmett Francis," a dark skinned guy grinned at the mention of his name. A jock.

"And lastly... May Oswalt," a brunette with blue eyes nodded. A realist.

"The students who have been called, please go to the office after school. All questions will be answered when you take your forms. That is all for now. Go back to your classes,"the students dispersed to their respective classes.

Kyle looked questionably at May. "You're going? Well, at least it wasn't your twin sister," May rolled her eyes. "I don't want to think that Nat going to another country would go well. The minute she steps into that country, havoc arises. Shopping sprees and being a hobo won't be good for her," May turned on her heels and went to her first period.

"Well, at least I know who's the negotiator. Pretty smart," Kyle rubbed the back of his head. He also walked to his first period with Seth. They're always together. Best buds forever.

'But why do I get the feeling some drama is going to come here' he thought. His hunches are never wrong. He hoped this time it might.
