Chapter 20

"It's really impressive of you Mrs.Lucia and your workers thank you." The auditor exchanged hands with me, l smiled at him. "l made sure to work hard for this project after that postponed project back then."

"Now l must go, thank you for your time and have a good day." With that he left the meeting room. I held my hand to my chest and sighed a relief sigh, "Jade! Write a notice about two days holiday starting from tomorrow and stamp it on the board at the entrance.", "Wait seriously?!", "Hum."

"Thank you Boss!! Thank you Lucia!!" She excitedly jumped then left me there. I bought a coca-cola can from the canteen then started doing my work on my laptop in my office. As l was almost downloading it, how Vernon slapped me that day, l recalled those moments. I closed the laptop hurriedly and gulped the coca-cola through my throat. "Why am l reminding of that jerk?" I mumbled then twisted the can on my hand in pure anger.

My phone rang and l saw it was from Markus. I received it, "Hey l am at the airport." He said and l gasped, "What already?!", "Yeah, come at the international airport l am sitting on the seats.", "Okay wait for me bye." I ended the call and hurriedly packed my things. "Where are you going Lucia?" Jade came inside the room and l looked at her, "Someone has came from abroad, so l am leaving early from work today. See you on Wednesday." I said then left for the airport.

I entered inside the airport, there was a huge crowd of people that surrounded the place. I tried to get inside and it was very isolating, finally after searching for a while. I saw a familiar figure scrolling through his cellphone on the seat.

I smiled happily, my mood went happy after what had happened yesterday. I tapped his shoulders and he looked up, his lips formed a huge smile. He left his phone on the seat and hugged me without leaving any second, his arms surrounded my waist tightly and l buried myself to his neck. "I missed you so much Lucia, like infinity. You don't know how much l was lonely without your chuckles and warm touches."

"I missed you too Markus." He pecked my forehead then kissed my cheeks. I hugged him again, l was lonely and frustrated of not having his presence beside me. He sat down and dragged me to his lap, l looked at him with hesitation. He smirked then buried himself to my neck as l ruffled his hair "Your hair is too smooth.", "Your neck is breathtaking." His lips didn't touch my neck but still l found it tickling.

"It's ticklish!" I hit him on his chest and l chuckled and he wrapped his strong muscular arms around my waist. "I missed you so much Bunny." He said after a long pause, "Can l call you bunny as a nickname?" He continued and l nodded, "That actually fits me, and l think it's a cute name!"

He stood up and then he carried me in a bridal style, "Put me down Markus!" I chuckled and he giggled, "Nope l am making up the time l lost in these 3 months." He put his index finger on my lips which signalled me to stop yelling. He kissed my forehead then went to cheeks. The urge of wanting to kiss him in lips kept raising inside me. "Can l make a mistake?" He suddenly said and l nodded being confused.

He met his lips with mine which formed a passionate kiss, l kissed him back. He tasted so much good and l wrapped my arms around his neck. He sat down again and put me in his lap then kissed me. After a couple of minutes, he pulled away. We both were breathless, "Let's pretend like it never happened alright?" I said and he looked at me in confusion.

"Why?", "I am not still sure that l love you Markus." I looked down and he nodded. "But can l kiss you again?" I continued which broke the silence. He didn't wait a millisecond to kiss me, and we kissed a few times sitting in that airport.

We were walking around the park while holding hands. It was dark but it was peaceful with him. We had a silent walk, and l kept thinking about the confusion l have between Markus and Vernon. I love Markus but Vernon always make me feel things that l wasn't supposed to.

He looked at me then held up my face. "Are you bothered by something?" He asked but l shook my head. "No it's nothing." I replied then he pecked my lips. I kissed him after he pulled away, l wanted him so much, something l shouldn't feel as a married woman. If he can spend a night with another girl, so l can kiss a guy l love dearly.

I kissed him again  so he replied to me like that, l could feel his happiness every time and l also had my fun like that. After some moment, he pulled away still catching his breath so did l.

What am l doing?

Why l am feeling wrong for what l am doing?
