"You needa hurry up before your late," Shay says pulling up to the restaurant, today all of us are having lunch. we all try to hang out at least once a week.
it's always just Shay, Kristen, Leeky, Smokey, mookie, Rico, and I.
"which one is it? i forgot," i tell her applying my lipgloss and slipping on my shoes. "you gone take my pictures when i get there?," i practically beg, she hates taking pictures especially mine. she claims i'm difficult, she just never get the right angles.
"alright imma call you when i get there," i hang up before she could respond. i turn on ballin' by partynexydoor. that's my man rb.
about 15 minutes later i pull up outside a brunch spot called scrambled. i called Shay and let her know i was outside, about 30 seconds later she comes outside.
"hey bookie," she says pulling me into a hug. "hey boo, you ready?," i ask taking out my phone, honestly i'm ready to eat. "mmcht yea," she rolls her eyes, taking it from me. we walk around the building before finding a good spot with good lighting.
after 10 minutes, we're finally done and we walk into the restaurant. i greet everybody before noticing mookie's not there.
"Where's mir?," I ask using the nickname i gave him, "he said he was pulling up but you never know with that nigga," Leeky says shaking his head.
"Why you always gotta look like you finna be a supermodel in a runway?," Rico asks referring to my outfit, "if i look good just say that," i roll my eyes.
"come wit me to the bathroom," i tell Shay and she nods standing up with me. we walk in the bathroom, and she helps me adjust my shoes. they're really hard to put on and take off.
