I watched Max talk to a paramedic, he nodded and then walked over to them. 'He'll live.' He told us. 'What about my dad?' Max looked over his shoulder. 'He'll face the consequences.' Max replied. Few weeks later
I wore a neat blazer as I entered the McLaren HQ, Lando stood next to Zac Brown. The team principal of McLaren. Zac Brown walked over to me and he shook my hand. 'It's an honour to meet you miss Horner.' He said and he then opened a door for me. We both entered the office. And he pointed me to a seat. He then opened his laptop and looked at me with a smile. 'You're classified for this position at our team. We as McLaren find it important you'll feel at home here. Especially after everything.' He said with a smile. I shook his hand after our interview and I then left the office and Lando waited for me outside. 'I've to call you boss soon.' He smiled at me. I kissed him and then we both made our way down the boulevard. When I suddenly felt like throwing up. I ran towards the closest garbage bin. And threw up. Lando held my hair up. When I was finished he grabbed my hands. 'Maddy. Is it something you ate.' He asked. I shook my head, 'no.' I whimpered. 'Manuel raped me. I just need to make sure can we take a pregnancy test?' I asked him. Lando nodded and he drove me to the nearest drug store. He told me to wait in the car and a few minutes later he arrived with a small plastic bag. 'Tomorrow.' He said to me.

The next day.
I took it and it gave me a positive for being pregnant. 'No...' I felt a tear rolling down over my cheek. Lando stood beside me he then squatted down in front of me. And grabbed the pregnancy test form me and laid it down on the sink. He grabbed my hands. 'Madeline. It's your body. So it's your choice what do do with it.' He said. 'Whatever choice you'll make. I'll be behind you.' He comforted me. I knew that this child would be a constant reminder of who Manuel was. And what he did to me. But at the same time it was a living thing. Something that could change the world. My world. 'I might keep it. But you'll be there for me?' I asked him after 10 minutes of silence. 'Always, and when this baby comes. Let's get married. To get rid of your last name. So you can start over.' He said. I forced myself a smile onto my face.
