Chapter Thirty-Three [M]

Y/n's POV

As I walked down the various streets and turned way too many corners to Ryujin's, I got all giddy. I had some of my favorite items I thrifted that I wanted to show her. I also got us breakfast because I know she's still asleep. I told her I would come by around 11am, but here I am walking towards the apartment building at 8:30am.

I wanted to surprise her, so I sacrificed my precious sleep to see her. I turned the final corner and saw the building down the street on my left. I made my way there, making sure my mask was secure and entered the lobby. The man was there from the other day and I pulled my mask down so he could see it was me. I said my name and he just nodded his head, pointing to the elevator.

I tapped my foot gently on the floor and listened to the soft elevator music playing in the background. It soon opened up on the 25th floor and I walked down the hallway to number 16. Ryujin had given me a spare key because whenever I'm here in SK (which isn't going to be a lot), I can come and go when I want.

I opened the door and quietly took off my shoes and placed them on the shoe rack. I wasn't quiet enough because a very tired Dallie walked out of Ryujin's room, looking at me at the end of the hallway. It was almost immediate how he woke up in an instant, trotting towards me with his tail wagging. I smiled down at him and placed the food on the table and my bag of thrifted stuff on a chair.

"Good morning, Dallie." I whispered to him as I crouched down to pet him. I then annoyingly got my shoes back on to take him outside before I continued to do anything. Not long after we entered the apartment, he went to his bone and chewed it in the corner. I stood up and tiptoed down the hall to Ryujin's room. I poked my head in and saw her limbs spread out on her bed, making me laugh to myself. Her mouth was open and a bit of drool was on her face. I stepped into the room and gently crawled onto the bed, hovering over the top of her body.

I wiped off the drool from her face with the sleeve of my hoodie, thankful she didn't wake up. I then pressed a kiss to her forehead,

"Babe, wake up." I whispered as I waited for any response from her. And there was absolutely nothing. I rolled my eyes with a smile and kissed her nose, watching as it subconsciously scrunched up cutely.

"Wake up, blondie." I said as a small groan fell from her lips. She turned her head sideways as her breathing evened out once again. I sighed and realized she's a deep sleeper. I took my pointer finger and tilted her head back towards me and placed a light kiss on her lips.

That got a reaction out of her.

Eyebrows furrowed and tired eyes fluttered open out of confusion. I smiled down at her as I waited for her eyes to focus on me. When they did, I barely had any time to react before she wrapped her arms around my body and pulled me down on top of her.

"You're here!" She said with her hoarse morning voice. I laughed as she placed small kisses around my face,

"Of course I'm here! And I didn't come empty handed."

"What did you bring?" She asked as she stopped kissing my face and looked me in the eyes.

"Well I have some thrifted clothes and then I also got us breakfast." I said as her eyes lit up at the mention of food. I laughed and leaned in to kiss her plump lips. She hummed into it and her hands found the back of my neck. I licked her bottom lip, asking for entrance, but she denied me as she pulled back.

"Can't kiss you fully yet because of morning breath." I rolled my eyes as got off of her so she could brush her teeth.

"I'll set up the food while you get ready to kiss me fully." I said with a wink as I walked out of the room and headed to the kitchen table. I got the containers out and popped them in the microwave to heat up the food since I know Ryujin will also do her morning routine. I got some utensils for us and the beeping from the microwave filled the apartment as I quickly got everything out. I placed the food on the table and waited for my lovely girlfriend to appear out of the bathroom.
