Next morning I woke up and felt weak but still not hungry. So i went downstairs and tried to eat breakfast with the other but just looking at my plate made me feel sick so I just ran outside into the wood. "Where am I?"

I looked around and saw the silhouette of my grandpa before collapsing to the floor.

-----------------

"She is waking up" I hear a voice that I can only assumed belonged to my brother. "What happened?" "You fainted dear, you need to eat now" I look at the bowl of soup that Miss Pergrine is holding and I take it and start to eat a little.

Everyone left except the one I didn't want to see at the moment, he was standing leaning against the wall near the door "Hey" he said "Hey"

"I'm sorry, I did not mean it"

I nodded and looked at him "Why did you say it then?"

"Because I am scared that you will leave, because I don't want to get to close to you"

"Why not, I would not mind"

"I don't want to get abandoned all again"

I nod and think for a second "But what if I stay?"

"Then I might not let you go"

"Then don't"

He turned red and turned around "Stop that"

"What? Tell me" I say smirking

He just got out of my room and I laughed.

Later that afternoon i was strong enough to get out of bed so i went straight to Enoch's room. "Enooooooch"

"Come in" He said in his same monotone voice. I opened the door and closed it behind me "Whatcha doing"

"You should know, I don't change the routine often"

"Then just tell me dear, are we friends yet?"

"I... I don't know" he said hesitant, it seems like he was thinking of something

"What could make you convinced that I am not my grandfather? I am a whole different person" I said to him.

"I also dont know"

"Then let's find out together" I say with a smile as I extend my hand for him to take.

He takes it and we both start running outside, the other peculiars seemed shocked to see him go outside.

"Come on" we kept running toward the garden and we stopped in front of the three, "Let's climb it."

"I don't think it's a good idea"

"Fine then stay down there, I will go." I started to climb and just as I was about to reach the top my foot slipped and I started to lose balance, I regained it but i could see how scared Enoch was "If you are so scared of me falling maybe you should join me"

He rolled his eyes and joined me on the branch.

"You know you are really a great person maybe if you stopped being so mean to my brother maybe you two would become good friends."

He stayed silent and I did the same after that.

-----

"Do you think you will ever fogive Abe?" I asked suddenly breaking the silence.

"No..."

My grandfather probably did what was best for him and later on for his family but how could he abbandon his friends. "I understand, I did not know my grandfather very well, I guess he was closer to Jake."

"Seems like you know a lot. Maybe not everything but still a lot"

"Did he ever write to you?"

"I don't know and don't care"

That is where the discussion ended and we both got down from the three, Enoch was the first to get to the ground and he helped me get down by holding me by my waist and putting me down.

"Thank you"

"Mhhh" he mumbled

"You know you could talk more, I do like to hear your beautiful voice and your accent is very atractive."

"Don't" he said while walking faster toward the house as if he wanted to escape me.

"Hey, wait!" I screamed as I ran after him.

-------

Once we entered the house my brother confronted Enoch "What is it with you and my sister? You seem to have some sort of feelings for her... She is not atracted to you. Leave her alone." He said bitterly

I stepped in front of Enoch and pushed my brother "I don't know what your problem is but stop always meddling with my life, I am not a child anymore. It should not matter who i like or who I want as a friend, so leave me alone Jake"

I just took Enoch's hand and dragged him to his room. "I am sorry."

He nodded and sat down on his bed and I sat next to him, waiting for him to talk.

"I don't hate you, I just don't understand you, I don't know what I should do when I am with you,  and it scares me to not know, I have been here for so long and it is all new."

"Then let's discover it together, trust me"
