Once the girls were back to their rooms I just looked outside. I close my eyes and as soon as I open them I am now in a forest alone in my pyjamas. I look around the wood as the breeze suround my body and I sillently shiver as I start to panic. "Hello?" I scream as I looked around for anything other than trees.

"Y/n you're here" I turn toward the voice to see Victor

"Victor where are we?" I say as I point around us.

"I don't really know to be honest" he says as he takes my hand and walk forward.

"Where are we going then?"

"I don't know"

"Then why are we going there?" I asked confused

"I don't know" he responded smiling, and I could see his hair fly in the wind. He looked so happy like as if all his worry were gone like he was not just a ghost of the past of what was once a happy boy. We continued to walk and we finally saw some light. "There look lets go." It was a old stone building, like a castle, that was now covered in vines and plants. I looked at the door and then at Victor who looked as confused as me. I pushed the wooden door to discover a luxurious room that used to be what I can only imagine to be a ballroom. "Whoa"

"Welcome Lady"

I turned toward the voice only to see another boy that looked to be about 17. "And who are you?"

"Oh sorry, my name is Lucas, I came from miss Dove loop"

"Then why are you here?"

"Because I'm dead"

"WAKE UP" I look up to see Enoch. I look around to see I'm now in the middle of the garden. "Why am I here?"

"I don't know but you should probably go back to bed and cover up a bit" I looked at him and gave him the biggest side eye "I am covered, I am wearing a shirt and shorts." I stomp inside as he run after me and take my hand to stop me "I didn't mean that... I meant as in you will get a cold... not that... you know what forget it" I laugh and just smile at him "Thanks for your concern Enoch" I just turn around and go back to my room, once I get inside I just smile to myself "I saw that" I turn around and my smile disapear "Why are you here Victor"

"You know me, always there whenever there is boys involved."

"What are you like my ghost wingman..."

"A what?" He asked confused

"Like you only want to get me to be with boys..."

"Oh definitely..." he said laughing.

"Come on, sleep on the other bed this ones mine."

He nods and just go on the other one. I look up at the ceiling and sigh.

"You know if you can't sleep you could go see Enoch, he is awake at this time..."

"Victor no, stop it." I whisper back

"Fine then would you like me to show you a secret?"

I turn around to look at him intrigued.
"Secret?"

I follow him downstairs to a weird looking room and I am very careful not to make to much noise in case anyone was still awake.

"What is this place?" I ask whispering

He points to a suitcase with letters and postcards. I kneel and take one of the letters from the pile of other letter that were discarded in this place.

*Dear Miss peregrine, I miss you and the children deeply. Last letter I informed you of my grandchildren
Jake and Y/n. Seems like the little one's already grow up so fast. They already know all about you and the children. The little angel seem to be so interested by all of you I can't wait for her to meet all of you. I can tell that she will fit right in.

With love Abe.*

"Those are my grandpas letters?"

Victor nods and I just continue to read some of them.

I was almost done reading when i noticed that the floor of the suicase had a bump as if something was hidden under the fabric so i took out my knife and cut through the bottom of the suitcase only to find a single postcard that was wrinkled as if the person who found it wanted to destroy it.

*Dear Miss Peregrine,

They are getting closer and my little girl already have her peculiarity, it seems I might not have much time left. Please welcome my grandchildren when the time comes explain them everything. Tell everyone I miss them. I will miss you all dearly.

With love and concern Abe.*

I look at Victor almost screaming "When was this written?"

"Two days before he..."

"Before he what?" I asked already guessing the next word that would come out of his mouth.

"Died" he said with a sympathetic look on his face.

I start to rethink everything and suddenly get confused "Why is it that I can see you but not him...?"

"You can't choose who you see."

"But why?"

"I don't know" he said abruptly stopping me from asking more questions about why all this was happening.

I looked around me to try to find answers but I only find a small letter that on the floor and noticed the difference in the handwriting.

*Dear Enoch,
I am called Y/n, Abe's granddaughter, and I hoped to meet you but grandpa said you are far so I will write to you instead, I think you are the most interesting of the children and I think that you are handsome. Wait for me when I will be old enough, I will be your girlfriend.

Y/n 12 years old*

"Ughh this is embarassing is this why you keep talking about him"

Victor smiles and laughs "Yes"

I just sigh and get up to go back to bed when I notice light coming from a room and I could see Victor smirking.

"I'm not going to embarrass myself."

"Come on talk to your boyfriend"

"Ugh shut up" I think as I get back to my room and finally sleep.
