I hid us ———— everyone safe. ———one place —— never find us.

I saw what they would do. The deaths ——— follow. — couldn't stop them before, —— I can now. Hiding is our only option.

——————, maybe — been thousands of years. ——— to be a hero. — won't be remembered as one.

I do this, For the honor of Grayskull...

"Her vitals are stable, luckily she didn't sustain any significant brain damage but I'm afraid there is a chance she may have amnesia" A woman stated.

The white lights of the hospital were blinding, the only colors that stood out were the classic blue of the sheets and curtains. It hurt to even move her head to look around but she noticed an older man sitting by her left side. His hair had already greyed and black glasses sat comfortably on his wrinkled face.

"May I ask what is your relationship to her Mr. Lee?" The nurse asked, a clipboard and pen in her hand to take down any extra information.

"I have no idea who this woman is" He smiled gently despite the nurses apparent shock.

She curtly nodded and made her way out of the hospital room, reminding that man to contact the staff for any assistance. Once the door closed he turned to look at the now fully awake woman in the hospital bed. It seemed like she was deep in thought, certainly wondering who exactly this man was.

"How are you feeling?" He asked her, but there was no verbal reply. Only a blank stare and a slight shrug from the (h/c) woman.

"Well, my name is Stan Lee. Found you all beat and bruised a couple days ago. They say you cant remember anything so you can stay with me in the meantime, it would keep me awake at night if I just left you on your own" He chucked, eyes curving with the curve of his smile.

"Thank you..Mr.Lee" The woman spoke, her voice low due to not using it in god knows how long.

"Just call me Stan! Now what did you say your name was?"

"It's [Name]."

________

Weeks passed since the day Stan has taken her in and she couldn't be more grateful for having the old man by her side. He was like a guardian to her and helped her in her re-adjustment to society. [Name] had gotten a stable job at a well known diner but wasn't exactly the best at making conversation — or any communication of any kind. Probably the main reason she was unable to hold her other jobs but she wanted to work hard despite Stan insisting that she should relax and that it was okay to rely on him, it just didn't sit right with her. Maybe it was part of the personality she had before she lost her memory.

"..the honor of grayskull"

The only thing she could remember was a golden sword and the image of a strong woman. No one seemed to know of the sword that she constantly drew or the silhouette of the warrior she saw. Maybe she was just crazy, her eyes moved from the paper to the tv that hung over the order counter. Tony Stark had begun to become even more of a household topic after his debut as the one and only IronMan, the Avengers seemed to be the talk of the town as well seeing how the current news broadcast was focused on their past fight against a whole alien invasion.

"Man, all of them are so hot, honestly. Smash on every single one" a voice said beside her.

[Name]'s head turned to her right to see her team manager Madie —short for Madilyn— staring at the television with her. If anyone seemed to understand her strange behaviors beside Stan, it was Madilyn. Their friendship was unusual but the best relationships are always a bit odd aren't they?

"Y'know, I noticed something" Madie starts

"What?"

"The time you told me that Stan found you seems crazy close to the time that whole Loki and alien shit happened" Madie crossed her arms, seems like this was something she had thought about for a while.

"So..you think I got caught in between that? I mean it makes sense a lot of people got hurt that day" [Name] shrugged, absentmindedly spinning the pencil in her hands.

"Yea but what if it was more than you just getting caught in crossfire? Just think about it, the only memory you have is some freaky sword and your real muscular and strong for a regular woman, no offense"

"None taken" She shrugged

Honestly Madilyn's reasoning made sense, something told her that this speculation might not be as absurd as the thought. Considering the things that existed in their world already, it wasn't so unbelievable.

Maybe there was more to it than she originally thought.
