𝐅𝐑𝐎𝐌 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐀𝐆𝐄 of eighteen Olivia had lived in California. She had her golfing academy there, her coaches, her friends and enough professional sporting teams to keep her entertained in the off season.

Edmonton was where she grew up but she now considered LA to be her home as well as where her heart was.

Which is why she found it incredibly irritating when Jack decided that he was coming back with her. As they were going to Michigan in a mere two days, the hockey player thought it was best to accompany her.

He would have gone to see Trevor but the question of why he didn't bring his wife along was then going to come into play.

An irritated Olivia watched on as everyone who walked past looked at Jack in awe, like he was gold. The way that people would stop to stare at him made her want to scream "I can feel you staring honey." Jack smirked as he took the girl's suitcase from her hand.

The Canadian rolled her eyes "I'm not staring," she grumbled as she went to push past him "wouldn't blame you if you did." The American let out a laugh when she flipped him off.

She couldn't understand how everyone treated him like some god where the ground he walked on deserved to be kissed. To her Jack was a man with far too much money and too high of an ego for his own good.

Over the last few days Olivia had been living some teenage girls dreams. The only time she really spent away from Jack was when they went to the bathroom or when either one went to bed.

The days were slowly picking at her to the point where she was actually looking forward to going to his families lake house. The golfer was desperate for a chance to not have him as her only method of conversing. She was naturally talkative despite her standoffish state and the fact that she was unable to talk to anyone with any sense of enjoyment it was now getting to her.

The hockey player laughed as he watched the frustrated girl struggle to open the trunk of her car "you want some help?" Jack asked with a smirk on his face seeing how her cheeks turned red.

The golfer rolled her eyes as she continued to look at the back of the car "I'm fine," she grumbled as she tried to ignore the way his eyes felt on her back.

The brunette didn't accept her answer "honey still has her pride," he joked as he helped her open the trunk.

The obsidian haired girl would have shot some type of comment back but he shocked her, literally. It wasn't that romantic shock that hit you in your core. It was that irritating static shock that nobody could really explain but everyone understands it.

Olivia looked up as the boy put her suitcase into the trunk. With it being the final of the two Jack turned to her finally seeing how close they were to each other "thanks." The girl softly spoke as she spun on her heel turning to the drivers side of the car.

The boy had spent the last few days wondering how to break the Canadian down, not because he wanted to see her cry. But because he was was desperate to see what was beneath the layer that the media classified as an over aggressive hothead.

Jack wasn't one for nerves, not in his games, not on first dates, he barely felt any on his wedding day. But when Olivia informed him of the invitation to dinner with two of her best friends who were desperate to meet him. Jack felt like he was going to throw up.
