Amy's POV:

Its been a couple of days since Hartley and I have been dating in secret. The reason why is I don't know what my family would say or react. Hartley has been wanting me to and I did it but something went wrong.

Flashback~~~~~~

"Hey mom, dad" I say hesitatingly. My parents look at me.

"Yes Amy" My dad said. "Hartley and I are-" I say nervously looking at my parents faces. "Um going golfing on Sunday can I go" I finish mentally slapping myself.

Flashback Ends~~~~~

Yep and I just think I will never be able to say it. So I guess secret it is.

Later:

Hartley came over to hangout in my room. Hartley came in and I was sitting on my bed.

"Hey Hartley" I say while im on my phone. Hartley starts speaking.

"Did you tell your parents about us" My eyes widen. I haven't told her about the relationship to parents thing so I just did what I did best. Lie.

"I did" I say cringing in the inside. I didn't want to lie to my girlfriend.

"Great because I have been thinking about telling my grandma too and if she doesn't approve of you she might kill you" She says climbing on the bed with me". I was confused.

"Ok, but why would my family need to know why we were together" She response with.

"Because it would give me enough courage to tell my grandma and since you did it I feel like it would be fair if I did it too." After she was done she kissed my cheek.

After she kissed me I decided to kiss her back but on the lips. But something happened. As I was kissing her. Somebody came in.

It was Jake.

It startled me and Hartley. We fell of the bed. Hartley fell on top of me and lets just say my face was the same color as a tomato. Hartley gets off of me so fast and I also got up fast.

Everything went so fast Jake was going running down stairs while yelling. "ITS REALL FAM HARTLEY AND AMY ARE TOGETHER" I was running after him leaving a confused Hartley. Jake finally reaches the family and says something out of breathe. "ITS *GASP* REALL *GASP* HARTLEY AND *GASP* AMY ARE FINALLY *GASP* TOGETHER.

While I run into the kitchen crashing into a wall and falling down I hear some cheers coming out of my family mouths. I get up and my dad hugs me saying thank you for making me win a bet. Were they betting on us. "Were you guys betting on if we were getting together or not" "Yeah" The whole family saying still happy. "So you are fine with Hartley and I." My dad obviously confused "Yeah why wouldn't we you guys are so obvious into liking each other and it was getting to the part if you guys were together"

Hartley comes in and says "What is happening" "You and Amy are together" My mom said. A confused Hartley answers with "I thought she already told you" "Well she didn't" Colby says looking at me. And then the whole family looks at me. "Ok look" I take a deep breath. "I was nervous of how you guys would react and I was scared and Im sorry Hartley for lying to you like that" I say really really fast. "Its fine but why did you lie to me, you could've just told me the truth I would've understood" Hartley said.

"Look Im sorry" I say. "It's okay, just glad that they actually know now" Hartley said.

My mom starts talking "And why didn't you tell us you were with Hartley but then again it wasn't really a secret"

"I didn't know we were that obvious" I say

Hartley stands next to me wrapping an arm around me and kissing me.
