It was the next morning and I was woken up by Maddie and saw Tails wasn't next to me
Daniel:morning Maddie,where's Tails
Maddie: he went with Tom and Sonic to go fishing
I nodded, stretched then got out of bed and put down some bread in the toaster then sat at the table and Maddie handed me a glass of milk,I thanked her then after breakfast I went back to bed to relax and read a book from me and Tails's bookshelf and after two hours of reading I fell asleep
Tails pov
After me Sonic and Tom got back from fishing Tom took us to get ice-cream on the way home and of course Tom got some for Maddie and I got mint for Daniel but when we got home I was still in the car even after Sonic ran inside
Tom:Tails you ok bud
Tails:Tom if Daniel's ok with it could you and Maddie help us find our own place to live in since we're married now
Tom:of course,I mean you guys can still live with us but if you want move out we won't stop you,but make sure to visit often and on holidays
Tails:thanks dad
Once inside I went to me and Daniel's room to see my husband laying in bed with a book on his chest so I sat the ice-cream on the desk and carefully grabbed the book,marked his spot and placed it on the nightstand and then got in bed next to him and started to pet him
Daniel's pov
Tails: hey Daniel, babe time to wake up
Daniel:mmm hey sorry heh I must of dozed off,when did you get back
Tails:just few minutes ago how long were you asleep for,and for the record that's one of my favorites
Daniel:I don't know I was probably reading for maybe two or three hours
He nodded and handed me my favorite ice-cream
Daniel:aw babe you didn't have to do this
Tails: I know I wanted to now eat up,I have something I want to ask you
Daniel:ok what is it(takes a bite)and this is good you should try it
Tails:I had my own and what I want to ask is,now that we are married I want us to live in a place of our own and I understand if you don't want that but um what do you think
Daniel:I think that if it'll make you happy then yeah we can do that
Tails:(sighs)enjoy the ice cream
Daniel:Tails hey what(sighs)
I put the ice-cream in the freezer and went after Tails and I caught up to him
Daniel:what did I do wrong,I said we could live together in our own place
Tails:that's not how I thought you would react,I thought you would have your own choice or opinion but instead you want me to do what makes me happy seriously
I started to tear up and I didn't want Tails to see me this way so I used my speed to run to our spot
