"BUT I DON'T UNDERSTAND. I specifically put in a request weeks ago to be assigned a dorm with my partner. You can check for yourself. His name is Matteo. Matteo Caddel-Hayes," I explained frantically to the puzzled-looking woman who stood before me.

"Yes, I can see that, mister... Lawson, is that right?" she paused. I nodded in confirmation, eager to resolve this pending dispute. "Well, Fallon," the woman spoke again, "you're correct. It does, in fact, appear that you did put in an assisted living request on Matteo's behalf," she agreed. "Yeah, I was told that my request was pretty much guaranteed. Matteo's disability documentation papers have already been signed and submitted and everything," I explained to her, matter-of-factly.

"Yes, sir, I'm sure," the woman said, still clearly confused about this particular issue. "I'm not too sure what happened here," she went on. "But if it's that important to you that you receive a new dormitory arrangement, I can discuss it with our data manager, and we'll see what can be done to help. However, I can't guarantee that this issue will be resolved right away," she explained to me.

"How long is that going to take?" I questioned. "There's really no way of knowing for sure," she responded. "The school year is just beginning. Student relocation is a very common request around this time. Getting to your particular case could take several weeks," she answered.

For a slight second, I stood there contemplating how exactly I should go about this problem but was unfortunately beaten to a solution by the taller boy who had stood beside me, listening in on our conversation the entire time.

"Don't worry about it. I already have a room key. We'll spare you the trouble. I'll make a copy of it, and he'll bunk with me. No biggie," he said ever so nonchalantly.

"Well then," the woman replied. "As you wish."

"Thanks anyway," Greyson spoke before making a swift turn around back towards the long hallway of doors that we had just previously ascended. With my mind now slowed in a hazy confusion, I quickly followed behind him.

"Well, just what the hell was that?!" I shouted as we walked. I was not immediately acknowledged. "No biggie," I mocked. "Calm down, I'm doing you a favor," Greyson eventually spoke, his eyes still fixated on the long hall ahead of him. "Favor? What kind of favor?" I questioned, my voice still very apprehensive.
