Chapter 2

Amethyst

Nagising ako nang marinig ang mga taong nag uusap. They were so loud that it echoes in the room. They are talking about me. I tried opening my eyes. As I looked around, I could tell that I'm in a decent room. I could see some medicines on the shelves. Then this must be a clinic. But it is surely not the clinic in the asylum.

Where am I?

"We'll be punished if they knew we let and outsider here at the Academy, Xanthia." the girl with green outift said. She looked very serious as if they've committed a huge sin.

Wait, who are these people?

"Then tell me what to do, Chloe. If we left her there, she would've killed that damn bastard."

Bastard? Is that Alec?

"Will you two shut up? Does making away changes anything? She's here na nga diba, ano pang magagawa natin?"inis naman na sabi nung naka light blue. 

HIndi yata nila napansin na gising nako. I just stared at them curiously. I tried to get up but my body still hurts. That girl in a green outfit turned herself since she's behind me. "Oh, you're awake." she exclaimed. She must be Chloe since the other girl called her by that name.

When they noticed that I didn't speak they all looked at each other.

My mind was full of questions again.

Did they save me? Or they saved Alec from me killing him?

I had so many questions in my head but I couldn't bring myself to speak up. I was again, silent.

"Are you okay?" they all said in unison.

Tumango lang ako. They sighed.

"Do you want something to eat? I'll get some." Chloe said. I just nodded.

Naaalala ko si Crissa sa kanya. She's always concern about me. Or maybe I just met harsh and bad people back then.

World is very cruel to me.

I was afraid. After Andreus died, I couldn't think of having friends, nor having someone like him again. But then I met Crissa. I tried building up my walls again.I tried so hard not to get attached because I was traumatized. Crissa didn't broke my walls, she climbed them for me. So that I wouldn't be alone. But now, I don't even know anymore.

Bumalik ako sa ulirat nang may kumatok sa pinto. Agad naman silang nataranta. Sumenyas yung naka light blue na babae sa mga kaibigan nya. Chloe put her index finger to her lips indicating that I should keep quiet.

Well I couldn't even speak.

Chloe and that girl Xanthia tried to lift me up.

Masyado ba akong mabigat?

I know my body hurts but I just let them take me, because I felt safe.

They are not danger. I hope they are not.

That girl in light blue walked towards the door, before she opened the three of us hid inside the cabinet. It was where the clothes for the patients were stored.
