Chapter 32

It's been a month already after when Freen took a full leave from her work to attend to Becky's needs. She thought by doing it, things will be much better. But it seems not. Becky is being so stubborn lately and she still does not acknowledged the baby in her tummy. Freen is a bit frustrated now about how Becky deals with the situation. She really wanted to sit down and talk to Becky about what is happening but she still give Becky the chance to realize it for her self until...

What is this babe? Why you are not taking your vitamins that was prescribed by your OB? I really can't understand why are you doing this? Freen is now serious asking Becky.

If you're tired of taking care of me, then stop. Go back to your work and just leave me alone. Becky said.

Why do you think that way? From the start I already told you that you can tell me if you have anything that bothers you, if you don't tell me what you really feel about this pregnancy I will not understand you. Tell me babe. You can tell me anything, I will do my best to understand you. Just let me know. Do you really want this? Do you really like to have the baby? Freen is asking her.

You want me to be honest with you about this, huh? Do you know what I feel every time I think of this pregnancy? Do you know how it feels knowing that this is a result of a nightmare and the worst thing, you never resent it, you never showed me that you don't accept this and I feel that it is just okay with you. I feel that what happened to be is nothing to you! 

Freen was so stunned with what she heard. 

You are doing this because you feel I don't care? You think this is easy for me? You think I accepted it that day I knew you have the baby because of what my brother did to you? Freen started to tear up.

From the start I know this is not easy for you, that is why I told you to tell me if what you really feel, but you kept it to yourself and you are not being true to me, now tell me, tell me babe, who is unfair her now. 

Becky is also crying because she knows how Freen is from day 1 of her pregnancy.

If you don't like the baby, I am begging you to just bear with it, the baby is innocent, then I will look for someone who wants it and I will fix everything and you'll not have anything to with it after you give birth. Freen stood up and left the room.

After that confrontation, Freen still stayed home and tries to be a good partner to Becky, she still takes care of her but the gap between them is really obvious. Becky tries to deal with her emotions and tries to accept the baby. She is on her 7th month.

She is now at the Lanai, resting and reading a book.

While Freen is at her home office doing her usual paper works and virtual meetings.

Becky felt the kick of the baby.

Ouch, please don't kick too much.. She rubs her tummy.

Are you hungry again? Then another kick. Okay, okay, I'll go and eat something. You are a food monster, you know. Then she stood up and went to the kitchen and look for something to eat.

While she is looking into what she can snack on, Freen saw her.

Are you hungry? but is standing at a distance from Becky. 

This food monster is. She points at her tummy.

What do you want to eat? I'll fix it for you. Freen asked Becky.

It's okay, I'll do it. Becky said.

Let me babe. Sorry I'm a bit busy with the emails and meetings today. I'll be with you after.

It's okay. Take your time. I'm just at the Lanai reading.

It might be hot there. Freen then called the servant and ordered to put a fan at the Lanai and add additional pillows for Becky.

The servant did it right away.

Here is your sandwich and what do you want to drink?

Just water, please. 

Water it is. Then Freen smiled at Becky.

They may still have the gap between them but Freen makes sure that she takes care of Becky and that all she needs is within reach. She can't deny that she is still madly in love with her girl.

Becky thanked her Freen and told her that she'll go back to rest at the Lanai. Freen assisted Becky going back to the Lanai.

They are now at their room. Freen handed a folder to Becky.

What is this?

Ahm...it's a list from the adaption center. Ahm.. couples who consider to do adaption.

Becky felt something, is it sadness. She still took the folder, opened it and scanned through it.

She did not say anything and gave back the folder to Freen.

I feel tired babe, can we sleep now? Becky said softly.

Sure. We'll talk about this some other time. Here let me help you.

Freen assisted Becky since this past days she is already feeling the heaviness of her bump...

When Becky already laid down. Freen softly massages Becky's back.

Feel much better, babe?

Yup... Much better. Thank you babe.

You're welcome baby. She went closer to Becky and kisses her softly.

I love you baby. Freen said.

I love you too babe. Becky replied and now is sleepy already..

Freen did her nightly routine when Becky dozed off to sleep.

She is still hoping Becky will learn to accept the baby and will want to keep it as their own.

But Freen already told her self that it will be Becky's decision. She will respect it.

Then after doing what she needs to do, she joined Becky in bed and after a few minutes doze off to dreamland.
