Dear 5-years-from-now Kim Yoonae,
Today is your seventh year as a trainee in the one and only JYP Entertainment. I believe that you, the me from five years later, has already debuted. Now if you really did debut, CONGRATULATIONS! You worked hard to achieve your dreams so you deserve a pat on your back.
Let me remind you of the hardships you overcame as a trainee and be proud that you did it.
Let me begin.
Not much thrill or hardship came your way four years as a trainee.
Then he came.
Yes, your trainee life became thrilling and hard when some guy came. Stupid you might think, but it is the truth.

I heard from our group's leader, Han Minyoung, that the new set of trainees will start training today. It made me excited and competitive at the same time. More trainees is equals to the chances of debuting smaller but more chances of meeting people with the same dream as mine. I like working and being around people who has the same passion as me.
We were currently having fun and showcasing our main talent to ourselves in one of the practice rooms. Our group is composed of four members. Han Minyoung, our leader and the lead vocal. Lee Minseo is the main vocal, lead dancer and the maknae. Park Jiwoo - "Ji-U" as she likes to say - is our eldest, the mood maker, and the main rapper.
While I was in the middle of showcasing my dance, there was a knock on the door. We all turned our heads when we saw people with one of the staffs. They all bowed and the staff introduced them as the new trainees. There were surprising more male trainees since usually there were more females.
"Oh my god, I'm thanking JYP for allowing more "targets" to enter this entertainment," Minseo squealed.
"You're only think about boys," Ji-U said while shaking her head.
"You're the one who calls boys "boy toys" Jiwoo," laughed Minyoung.
I didn't join in the conversation because I was still shocked and suddenly self-conscious like how long did they even watch? I was embarrassed. Now this is why I still haven't debuted. It's because I'm not confident of myself; so I scolded myself and decided to join in the conversation.
"So who caught your eyes?" I teased Minseo.
"The guy with the black hair." She stated proudly.
"Most of them have black hair though," stated Ji-U a-matter-of-factly.
"Fine. The guy with the English print on his shirt. They should've said their names," Minseo pouted. We were used to her and none of her aegyo worked on us except on Minyoung. She would fall for Minseo's antics anytime.
I ignored her and turned to Minyoung and Ji-U. "What about you guys?" I asked. "The guy in front is hot." Ji-U. "The guy who doesn't look like a Korean. You? " Minyoung asked me.
"The guy with the red-brown hair."
We finished practicing at four in the morning, well, I was the one who had to practice more. I had vocal and rap trainings since that was what I wasn't good at. I have this nasally high voice that doesn't suit singing so I have to concentrate on rapping and dancing. The vocal and rap trainer, Mr. Kwon, would always make me practice for two hours.
"Your rhythm isn't so good", "The flow should be like this," he would say. It did annoy me at first but now, I got used to it and try to fix my shortcomings. I had to improve to debut. I didn't want that to repeat again. I wanted to debut with the friends I am with right now.
As we arrived home, I started asking questions about rapping, practice, and singing but only to answer them myself. I also sleep talk sometimes. The other girls call me "Alien" because of my unique attitude. They say it's because my blood type is AB. Minseo started rummaging through the fridge and grabbed a bag of cookies because Minseo - and also Minyoung - never ever gains weight. Minyoung plopped herself on the sofa and started searching Google on Naver. And well, Ji-U was watching something I don't even want to know about. Ji-U was the most "open-minded" in the group, if you know what I mean. We were doing our usual activities after practicing and all.
After around ten minutes of doing what we usually do, we showered. Minseo first, Me second, Minyoung third, and Ji-U last. We would do that in order every time. We would give priority to our youngest as our responsibility as her older sisters. We consider each other sisters even if it's just been a year since Minseo, Minyoung and Ji-U joined the entertainment and the group was formed. We also made a rule that it's fine not to call the eldest line "unnie" - only if we're alone - because we wanted to be closer. But we could call Minyoung and Ji-U "unnie" if we still wanted to.
We all sleep in one big bed. All of us cuddle together and talk for a while. We had to sleep soon since we still had to practice at nine in the morning. We literally were walking zombies. "Do you think we'll get to see the new trainees tomorrow?" Minseo asked. "Most probably since the entertainment makes us train as soon as possible." Minyoung answered sleepily. She always wakes up first to prepare breakfast and to wake us up. She would usually prepare bacon, eggs, and milk since it was our favorite. She's the most reliable member. President Park Jin Young even approves her being the leader of our group.
"I want to see them too," yawned Ji-U. "They're really hot. Then when the power of the soon-to-be-idol-entity wakes up, they'd be hotter." She grinned that grin of hers when she's satisfied with what she sees or imagines. "Oh yeah, guys, I finally finished all the three Fifty Shades of Grey books. It was so hot." She continued to fangirl over how hot Christian Grey was and how she wanted to be the girl.
Minyoung then said she was going to sleep then we all said good night to each other and fell asleep.
I thought I would finally have a good night sleep but I guess not.
