It was a warm spring morning. Birds singing, people lazily walking down the pavement. Skies clear and sun shining.

I smiled, on my way to the corner coffee shop I visited regularly. I loved it there. It was quiet and i could chill out in a booth in the corner.

I walked in and took my regular spot. I was quickly welcomed by a new barista. I eyed him up and down. He was cute, i have to admit.

Brown hair, that got subtly lighter at the ends. Messy, with lots of curls, getting in his vision a bit. His eyes chocolaty brown color with something mesmerising in them. Straight nose and some freckles around it. Pink lips complementing his tanned skin.

He smiled.

'Are you ready to order, miss?' I shook my head, putting thoughts away for a moment. 'Yea, i'd love an iced tea and some cherry cake' He scribbled in nis notepad and looked at me. 'Alright i'll bring it when its ready'

I thanked him and smiled. My eyes wandering after him when he went back to make my order. I watched him for a while before going back to my phone.

I heard dished being placed in front of me and put ny phone away. 'Thank you uh.. Oliver?' I read from his nametag. He chuckled. 'No problem' He paused. 'You don't have a nametag so i guess you have to tell me' He winked.

I introduced myself and we chatted a bit.

'Oliver' We turned our heads in sync to face one of his co-workers. Are all baristas here handsome? Is it some kind of requirement or what.

'You can flirt later, lover boy' The boy snickered. 'Although I wouldn't wanna leave a lady like this too' He added. 'Now say goodbye, leave your number and go back to work'

Oliver's cheeks reddened a bit. It's cute to see a guy blush. Especially when it's because of his friends teasing him about you.

'Sorry for him. He can be a bit much sometimes' Oliver apologised. He ripped a page out of his notepad. 'I'd like to meet up sometime. If you want to of course' He said handing me a piece of paper. I looked down and scribbled my number. 'I'd love to' I smiled, giving him the paper back.

I sat in the cafe for a bit longer. I gathered my things ready to leave, scanning the room to see if the boy was still here. He was standing near the door cleaning one of the tables.

I made my way over there. 'It was nice meeting you' I said. He straightened himself and looked at me. 'Same goes for you' He smirked.

I built up the courage in myself. I came closer and gave him a swift peck on the cheek. 'Bye, see you later' I smiled and left the cafe, leaving the boy standing there, a bit shocked.

He watched me in awe, as i crossed the street and went on my way.

I saw a notification come up on my screen. A message from an unknown number. ^You stole a kiss and I'd like to give it back. Call me later tonight and i'll figure out a time for our date;)^ I was sure that it was Oliver.

I smiled to myself, knowing that it was just a beggining of my story with the coffee scented boy.
