The flames burned bright on the house, smoke was coming from the roof, you could hear sirens coming closer and closer, it was the firefighters. They'd come to save the day, but it was too late, Leslie was already charred, Johny was barely clinging to life, there were no kids home though, unfortunate for some, fortunate for most. The firefighters rushed into the building, Johny was right there, he had burns all over his body. But he'd live, as for Leslie, she passed. It took a while, but they had got rid of the fire. The house was barely standing, as the ambulance came to collect Johny. Johny was awake as the police also arrived his kids were in there, all three of them, joseph, jade, and Jason, JJJ they were called. The kids got to see their father one more time, got to hold him, look at him, see him. He was ruined.
THREE WEEKS LATER.
joseph carried hospital food in his hands, he was walking over to his dad's hospital bed.
Joseph knew that they wouldn't be able to stay with him for much longer, they'd have to go to an orphanage, his father always hated orphanages. He'd grew up in one, that's how they met, Leslie and John, Joseph gave the food to Jason, who was going to be the first to the orphanage, this was his last day with his father, his last day with his siblings. Until he had to go. they threw him a go-away party, it wasn't the last time they'd see him, but it'd be a while. Jason had packed all his things already, and hugged his siblings, he couldn't bare to hug his father, the pain would come back his anger would come back, how did the fire start? his father clearly stated, nobody was cooking, it had to be arson, but who would do it, what reason would they have, why did they take his mother away!!? Those thoughts ran through his mind, as he walked away from them, and into a limo, as they took him to, wefestera orphanage. His mind was racing, when he got there, it was 4 stories tall. so many kids were there. it almost gave him an anxiety attack. as all the kids greeted him, he'd burst into tears and run into the orphanage.
CHAPTER 1 - end
CHAPTER 2 - new place.
It had been a week since he got here, the place was... odd he'd say.
This was the day the angry Jason decided he had to make a friend. So around lunch time he grabbed some boxed-up pizza and sat down in front of a boy, this boy was a bit of a loner. His name was Norman, he had glasses and a camera, everyone thought of him as a weirdo and an easy target. Jason thought of him as someone who just didn't know how to make friends yet. Then he looked at the camera he had, he could ask him about that.
"Hey, what's your favorite photo you've ever taken?" Jason asked.
"Huh - oh me, I don't have one." Norman responded.
"Oh, well my name is Jason, what's yours?" Jason asked.
"My name is Norma-"
Suddenly a blonde boy and a red head boy sat next to them, the blondie took a fry off of Norman's tray, eating it.
"Hey norm! how's it hanging?" the blondie asked.
"You still getting our food I see huh." the red head said.
" Guys can you not today, please?"
suddenly the red head pushed Norman's head into his tray, getting food all over his face. after he did that Jason got up out of his seat. "what's your problem dude." Jason said, clearly irritated. "Oh, who's this, guess you don't know the protection tax do you." the blondie said, "clearly not." Jason said before grabbing the red heads wrist and taking his hand off of Norman's head slowly. the red head then used his other hand to flick Jason's forehead, before snatching his hand back. "so, you want a fight? Right now?" Jason said. "Who the hell's this guy?" the blondie asked Norman. "The 13-year-old who's about to beat the crap out of you if you don't get lost." Jason said, before balling his fist. "it's fine, I've got it under contro-" Norman said before getting his face stuffed back into the tray by the red head. "The hell you say norm?" the red head said, as Jason grabbed his wrist again. "do that again, and i'll knock you out." jason said, as things were heating up in the orphanage, what's gonna happen? find out next time on, "the orphanage."
