Friends

🥛Tobio's POV🥛

God class was dreadful im glad it's finally over. now it's time for practice I need to go get ready I believe the club room was beside the gym. As I walk to the club room I start to wonder who all is on the team and if they're nice. Yeah, this is the club room. I open the door and start to get dressed. Maybe I can make some friends this year I whisper to myself.

"you didn't have any friends last year?" I jump and look to my right seeing Hinata. "WHEN DID YOU GET IN HERE?!" Hinata laugh " I came in about a minute ago I guess you didn't notice cause you seemed to be thinking. I look at him with a blank expression. " I guess I didn't notice you and no I didn't have friends during middle school." I looked to the ground trying to stop this topic. " I'll be your friend" I look over and my eyes widen. "Y-you will?" Hinata was smiling and it was the cutest smile I had ever seen. I started to blush slightly on my checks so I turned away. "Hey, do you wanna come over to my house tonight? We can practice volleyball and we can get to know each other better." I think about it for a moment but I had no reason to say no so I agreed and we went on to the gym.

🌻Hinata's POV🌻

As we walk into the gym I see Diachi and Suga talking to each other holding some papers. I look at Kageyama and say " What do you think those are." Kageyama looks at the papers and says "Those are info papers about us. All the papers about the 1st years who try out for the volleyball team. They must be discussing who joins the team." I start to feel a little bit of pressure on myself. "Do you think we will be on the team?" Kageyama looks at me with a serious face and says "I have no doubt BOTH of us will make it. I look at Kageyama with hopeful eyes and a smile. he returns the smile. "I've never seen you smile before how come you don't?" Kageyama jumps a little. I think maybe offended him oops. " I don't know I've never had a reason to smile I guess" Hearing Kageyamas response made me sad. Maybe I shouldn't have asked. He seems fine though." Hey, you two come here and warm up the 1st years are gonna have a 2v2!" Me and Kageyama look at each other and excitedly run over and start warming up.  A few minutes later we hear the door open and I see a Tall french fry-looking person and a boy with green hair and freckles. Me and Kageyama Continue to warm up as the 2 other boys talk to the captain and go to warm up. " Who do you think they are?" Kageyama gives me a look and says  "They're the other 1st-year's idiot." Im starting to believe Kageyama just likes insulting me. " One of them is really tall. Do you think they're good?" "I don't know why are you asking so many questions. I know just as much as you when it comes to them." I go back to warming up " I guess your right. Im just a little nervous that's all."

(3RD PERSON)

The whistle blows and the boys run into position. The game soon starts from there. Hinata and Kageyama are on the left side of the next and Tsukishima and Yamaguchi are on the right side. Yamaguchi servers the ball heading to Kageyama who receives it over back to Tsukishima then the ball hits the side of Tsukishima's arm and bounces away off the court. Yamaguchi serves the ball but this time it went in between Kageyama and Hinata. Hinata sloppily receives the ball to Kageyama who sets the ball for Hinata and then BAM! The ball flew past Tsukishima and Yamaguchi who was in a state of shock. The 3rd years just stare at the ball and then Kageyama and Hinata like a deer in headlights. Kageyama and Hinata run up to each other and high-five. 

*48 minutes later*

🥛Tobio's POV🥛

The whistle blows* Hinata and I had won. 24-19 really excited we hug for a split second and look back at the 3rd years to see what they say. " Wow Hinata your flexibility and reaction time is amazing even your jumps but your receives and servers do need some work other than that I'd say you're a decent player with amazing JUMPING height and energy". Hinata smiles and thanks them. "Kageyama you are a really good player the way you hand the ball is amazing it's like you can pinpoint. Your serves are decent and your receives are decent but we can always make them amazing. Your setting is impeccable you can handle the ball very well and much ease and have good reaction time. overall you are a well-rounded player with amazing setting skills."  I smile and bow to them as a thank you. Honestly, I paid no attention to what they said for the other too cause I already knew what they were capable of when I went against them just now.  Hinata walks in front of me a little and asks the captain a question. " Does that mean we're all on the team?" Diachi turned around and laughed. " You were always on the team I just wanted to see what you were capable of and what you needed to get better at." Hinata turned around to me and bounced up and down while shaking me. It was a little annoying but I got to admit it did make me smile seeing him this happy. "Alright, guys it's time to go home practice is over see you guys tomorrow morning let's get cleaned up!" Hinata and I start to clean up and help put stuff away. We finish and head to the club room to get dressed out of our sports clothes. " Hey my mom already knows your coming I texted her earlier so don't worry about her unexpecting you." I give Hinata a thumbs up the let him know I heard him cause I was currently putting my shirt on.

🌻HInata's POV🌻

Kageyama and I say our goodbyes and start to head to my house. " Hold on I have to get my bike." "You have a bike?" Kageyama looks at me surprised. " Yes, I have a bike. I ride it up the Mountain and to school every morning I even ride it to town when I need to." He looks at me and we head on.

*3rd Person*

The two boys walk down the street. As they're walking Hinata looks up at the sky seeing the moon shine down on them and the clouds pass by as the stars light up the sky. Kageyama notices the silence and looks over and sees him looking up.  As they're walking Kageyama ruffles Hinata's hair and asks him what he was looking at earlier. Hinata responded telling him how beautiful the moonlight was tonight and how the sky night kinda remind him of Kageyamas eyes and hair. Kageyama blushes slightly and thanks Hinata. They continue to walk in the moonlight up to Hinatas house in silence enjoying the fresh air and company of each other.
