Twisted Between Two

Chapter One - The First Day

WARNING- this story will contain some swearing every now and then <3

She sighed as her alarm buzzed, it was the first day at her new school.

"Ugh it's too early for this." Scarlett mumbled to herself as her mom burst into her room.

"Rise and shine darling, first day of school honey!" Said her mom.

" I know mom," She replied, " do I really have to go, I mean what about I stay home for an extra day! Please? "

"Oh honey this is exciting, you can't just stay home!" Her mom said, "Now come on, get up and get ready i'm gonna go make breakfast."

Scarlett picked herself out of bed and stretched her tired limbs. She made her bed and looked through her messy closet searching for an outfit, she decided on a pair of green, camo cargo pants, a tight, black tank top and her white air forces for shoes. While walking over to her bathroom to wash her face and do her skincare she checks her phone to catch up with her old friends. She does her skin care and some very light makeup as her skin looks bright and clear today.

Scarlett groans, " Where is my curling iron?!" As she's rummaging through all her bathroom cabinets until suddenly, " OW!" Scarlett screams as the heavy iron falls on her foot.
" I guess I found it." She shrugs and brushes it off.

*after Scarlett finishes getting ready*

"There's my gorgeous daughter!" claims Scarlett's mom, " Come sit and eat breakfast I made pancakes."

Scarlett smiles and walks over to the marble kitchen island, she sits down on one of the stools and begins to eat her scrumptious pancakes while scrolling through her socials on her phone catching up with everything.
"So are you excited Scar? Asked her mom while preparing her own lunch for work.

Scarlett paused for a second " Kind of but i'm not ecstatic I'm worrried I won't make many friends."

"Nonsense!" Exclaimed her mom, " You are so kind and warm hearted you will definitely make loads of friends but eat up you don't want to be late."
Scarlett finished up her breakfast, grabbed her backpack and started to make her way to her moms car, her mom followed.

ARRIVING AT SCHOOL

"Okay Scarlett we're here, you ready?" Said her mom.
She shrugged " I guess."
"Okay honey remember you can call me at any point during the day if you need me to pick you up, now go and enjoy your day." Her mom mentioned to her.
" I love you mom." She smiled and planted a kiss on her moms cheek while stepping out the car.
" Love you to darl" Her mom answered back with a big smile on her face.
Scarlett watched her mom drive away and then started walking up to the school entrance. The school was huge. She was getting more worried now. Until suddenly someone tapped her gently on the shoulder. She turned around to see three near identical boys staring at her with smiles planted on their faces.

"Hey!" Says the one in the middle, " Your the new girl right? Our principal told me about you he said something about showing you around the school but I wasn't really listening so I guess we'll see about that later. Anyways my names Nick! And those two are my brothers Matt and Chris."

They both greet you with the sweetest smiles ever.
"I'm Chris!" Says the one on the left, "And that's Matt." He said pulling a funny, disgusted face.
The girl giggled.
"Chris shut up! Anyways, hi i'm Matt."

The boys walked her all the way up to her first lesson which she turned out to be in the boys' class which would make her day a-lot easier.

During lunch she sat next to Nick, opposite Matt and chris was next to Matt.
"Hey someone pass me the salt." Said Nick.
She and Matt both reach for the salt to pass it too Nick which then results to their hands touching. They both slightly blush and giggle.
"Sorry!" They both say in unison which makes everyone laugh.

*In Scarlett's mind*
Woah Matt has baby soft hands they feel so nice and he's so nice.. There's no way i'm already catching feelings for Matt we just met! But he's just so sweet and... funny and... beautiful! Anyways I need to get on with my day without thinking about him!

She spent the rest of the day with them, exchanged numbers and socials them so they could stay in touch during non-school times.

AFTER SCHOOL
"Hey mom!" She said.

"Hey sweets, I see your in a good mood huh?" Replied her mom, " Hop in lets go home."

" I sure am! I met so many nice people and especially these triplets they're so funny!" Scarlett said while getting in the car, " I am so tired after this long day though let's go home."

Scarlett and her mother then arrive home, Scarlett had a chill afternoon face timing Nick as the other boys had lacrosse practice but they did join later on. She is very satisfied with her first day and can't wait to go back the next day but little does she know her feelings will feel stranded not long from now...
