9 months later.

I can't believe I'm on my way to college! With a softball scholorship! Georgia hear I come! I'm gonna miss my team. Our relationship has grown so much over the past years.

I'm Spencer Gibson. Pitcher. And the most awesomest girl you'll ever meet! Right now I'm packing the rest of my belongings before me and him drive to the airport and fly to Georgia. Mom would be so proud of me right now.

She was the one who introduced me to softball. She used to play herself, until she was in a really bad car wreck.

I was 7 when she passed away and I promised myself that no matter what, no one will come in the way of me playing softball for my mom.

As I walked around my now empty room, I started to cry as memories of me an my teammates ran through my brain.

So many practices and games and parties, we will all be split up. We will all be going to different universities around the country.

"You ready champ?" My dad ask walking into my room.

I guess he noticed my tear stained face because he came over and gave me a hug while whispering soothing words in my ear.

" I'm gonna miss them and you dad." I manage to say.

" This isn't goodbye Spence. You guys will be reunited soon. Don't worry! And plus, your biggest fan will see you again during your home opener." he says.

I smile.

"Well let's get a move on!"

He grabs the bags beside my door and I grab the remainder bags.

We put the bags in the trunk and then drive off to the airport.

2 hours later

"I wonder who my roommates are. I hope their nice" I say after my dad and I leavtheron getting my room number. We get to the dorm buildings for student athletes by using the rental car we got at the airport.

When we arrive to the buildings, there are three dorm buildings for women student athletes and three dorm buildings for men student athletes. The buildings go in a U shape, all with different colors or textures. In the center of the U shape is a statue of a bulldog.

There were many people moving going in an out of the buildings with boxes and suitcases. I notice that on the left side were mainly girls and on the right are mainly boys.

The first building on the left seems to be 4 stories tall made of white bricks. The one in the middle was black and also 4 stories tall. Finally the last one was of course 4 stories tall and was red.

To the right, the first building was 4 stories tall also but this building was red bricks. The middle one was red an the last one was red. Also 4 stories.

My dad pulls up to the red building on the right. We get the bags from the trunk and head to the elevator to go to the third floor.
