The Alpha and His Little

Ash's POV
When she would not sit next to me it really angered us, but when she did not want to talk using her duties as an excuse it was clear something happened.

As I chased her and grabbed her hand pulling her to us as my wolf was angry I lost control. Alex sniffs our mark and rubs his nose up and down it making our little mate moan calming us down.

"Alpha Ash I don't have time and..." Sam says until a little boy hugs her legs.

She looks up at us before kneeling at eye level with the boy.

'She will be a great Luna to our pack' Alex says puffing his chest out.

"Mikey what are you doing here?" Sam asks.

"Mommy is in labor and I can't find daddy." The boy whose name is Mikey says.

"Ok take me to here." Sam says making Alex puff out his chest more proud.

I knew I could not follow her as if the woman's mate sees me it could cause a fight. So instead I go look for Luna Ally and Alpha Nate as they should know about this. When I found them I told Luna Ally as Nate was being linked probably by my mate.

"Tammy is in labor, I have to go." Alpha Nate says before leaving.

So I kept Ally busy and tried to figure out what happened since this morning that made out made act so distant.

"Luna Allison tell me about my mate that could make her act like this morning."

She looks at me and then off the porch.

"Sam doesn't like showing her little space to anyone beside me and Nate. That even includes her emotions besides happiness and joy. This morning I can't tell you as I too do not understand as she ignored me. All I can tell you is she is upset and it has to do with you since she tried to hide your mark." Luna Allison says.

"I caught onto that."

"Well that is all I know." Luna Allison says.

She leaves when Mikey arrives stating he was told to come stay with her.

So here I am sitting on the front porch alone wondering why my mate tried to hide my mark on her.

After a while Alpha Nate is back and looks so proud.

"You have an amazing strong mate I hope you know." Nate says.

"I know how lucky I am."

"You better fix whatever you did to piss my Delta off., but for now let her cool off." Nate says.

I nod knowing no matter how much I want to gravel to be in her good side again I can not force it.

"Is she still with the woman?"

"No, but she did help deliver a healthy baby boy with only the mother and her there." Nate says.

Alex wags his tail still puffing his chest out with pride.

"She will differently be a great Luna and mother especially as I have seen how she acts."

"That we both can agree." Nate says.

After a while Sally calls me and we talk. When I told her I needed help to get back on my mate's good side she was stunned on the amount of time. I told her everything and she snorts saying she knows what went wrong, but would not tell me making Alex and I to growl. She hangs up on me bore I could use my Alpha Command on her making me even more frustrated and annoyed. So I went on a run and stopped when I see Sam playing with ten pups. They all gain up on her as she has the football making her run the other way. We payed down watching with pride as our mate plays football with the pups. When they tackle her legs she falls making us on alert, but her laugh calms us. The tickle her as a older boy grabs the ball from her scoring a point.

"That was not fair you guys." Sam says.

"You said the old rules apply not any new ones." One of the boys says.

"Okay, but now on no tickling as to steal the ball." Sam says.

The line up again and this time around Sam tickles the older boy making him drop the ball and laugh. The other boys join in and before long it is a dog paddle with my mate being covered by nine boys. She tickles them back to get off and then grabs the ball running and scoring.

'Our mate is definitely perfect for us.' Alex says.

'Indeed, but I wish we knew what got us on her bad side and how to fix it.'

Alex nods and goes into the back of my head as I watch my mate and the pups.

Soon I shift as Alex was busy wondering and put on all my clothes before heading off watching my mate do her duties.

One of the pluses of her not being a supernatural being is that I can go undetected by her as I watch her.
