Alisha stood there in complete shock. Thomas.

Thomas on the other hand stopped laughing and stared back at her. Something was wrong... or right... about this girl. She was starring at him, what was going on? Everybody was laughing, well except Minho who looked very annoyed. All of the sudden Thomas was pushed down by her. Then he realized it was kind of a hug. A hug that felt so familiar, so normal that he instinctively put his hands around the girls body.

The Gladers stopped laughing watching them with shock or even horror.

Alby and Newt came next to Thomas with questioning looks and so did Minho after a few seconds. Thomas only shook his head without knowing what else to do but hug back.

"Okay, I guess that's enough, we got it, you like him and all..." said Alby trying to pull her away

That escalated quickly. Thomas didn't know how to react.

She wouldn't let go, but she did turn her head to face Alby.

"You sure aren't kidnappers. You don't get anything right."

"You could start talking, you know. We thought you are mute for a while." Newt said in reply.

"Thomas is my brother." Alisha stated.

Silence

"WHAT?!" Alby and Thomas both shouted.

"How do you know?!" Thomas asked?

Her face saddened a bit.

"I simply do. And I thought you'd know too."

Everybody stared at Thomas now. He sighed.

"I do know there's something familiar about you, but I couldn't put my finger on it." Newt and Alby shared a worried look.

"Listen up, shanks. Go do your parts like usual. We'll figure this out." Alby stated and the others were spreading around the glade. A tall skinny boy with black hair remained next to Newt and so did Minho. Alisha wished he would have left.

"Alby, obviously there is something wrong with this whole situation. We shouldn't keep her. After all she wants to go out there. " The new boys said.

Alby frowned.

"We've already decided. We keep her. For the moment we'll put you in the slammer 'cause you did broke two of our most important rules, maybe all three of them." He said looking down to Alisha. "This is Gally, keeper of the builders, he might not seem nice but ya'll get used to it. The rapist here is Minho, keeper of the runners..."

"I'm not a shucking rapist, just so you know." Minho added.

Alby decided to ignore that.

"It seems like you should get the tour now, otherwise you'd be gone in the next second. So starting with the rules..." A powerful sound of shuffling filled tha Glade. In front of Alisha the walls she wanted to escape through moved, closing the exists. The girls eyes widened.

"How did you do this?!" she asked in shock.

"We didn't, this is why we didn't let you go in there. You would have been stuck in there for the night. And nobody survives the night in the maze." Alby said.

Alisha didn't ask why, she was quite sure she will find out later.

"you should start thanking me for saving your ass." She was brought back to reality by Minho's voice.

"I bet you were glad to save that ass." Alisha answered keeping her eyes on the walls.

"Greenie, pay attention. Three rules. Don't go in the maze, only runners are allowed there. You already broke that yesterday and tried again today. Don't hurt another glader, hitting Gally's nose and Newt's jaw are counted as breaking the rules, you know. And finally, do you part. You didn't do anything yet, we'll figure that out as well. When you break the rules, you go in the slammer for the night at least, got it?"

"Slammer sounds awful." Alisha said a bit scared.

"It's really not that bad. It's just a room underground. Although you have so sleep on floor..." Thomas said already feeling responsible for her.

"You do look alike, If I watch closely. You seem to be the same age, but not twins..." Newt said in a meditative way.

Alby rolled his eyes.

"Minho, take the greenie to the - "

"Alisha." You interrupted him.

"Fine! Take Alisha to the slammer. I'm tired of all of this, tomorrow you help Jeff and Clint as medjack and you won't run, deal?!" Alby seemed really annoyed. He couldn't wait for this to be finished.

"Deal" she said with a tiny voice.
