My friends all planned a party at the beach since it was recently one of the girls birthday's. It was Jenny's 16 birthday. Most of my friends are older than me. I doesn't really bother me but they use it to tease me and that bothers me. We all decided to meet there at 9-9:30ish in the morning. I wasn't too sure if I could go. I can't really go anywhere because of my dad. Not like I listen to him. I have a pretty bad relationship with my dad and my mom's always at work so I take care of my twin sisters. They're 4 about-to-be 5 and the sweetest little girls ever. I walked home from the boxing gym and picked my sisters up from daycare everyday. But today was different, my mom was home. She usually gets home at 10 or 11. Here's the thing: I have a reason to hate my dad. It's not just like I hate him and that's that. He hits me and bad too. One time I came home from school to early and he hit me so hard I had a black eye. Teachers asked me about it. And I told them what happened. But they never tell. I asked them to. Teachers know about the situation however they can't do anything about it. Because if they do, the cops will lock my mom up. One time she got reported for substance abuse. But she doesn't even do drugs. My dad does. That day they took her in, was the worst day of my life. For a whole month she was gone, until someone brought in evidence that she was innocent. The police still don't believe that she didn't do drugs. It's probably because we're Mexican. When I got home with the girls I asked my mom if I could go. She was fine with it. Then she told me that my friend Monica called and asked if I could sleep over. I was aloud to go so she picked me up at 7. We didn't do much now that I remember. The next morning we got up pretty early to get ready. I don't know why we did, we were going to be late anyways. Monica and I got there around 10 am. We quickly noticed that I was right about being late as all of our friends were there already, waiting on us. Although I can't ever recall a time where I wasn't late. After being there for a I noticed there was a group of guys from our school. With them however was a kid I've never seen before. It's important to note that these guys were my boyfriend's friends, so I would know. They were staring at us. and I knew why. I never left my house anymore. or at least that's what they think. I do, sometimes. I just don't go out with my friends or anyone. Not because I don't want to, trust me I do, but I just don't feel like it anymore.
