Iridescent

Why?

       Trigger Warning: 🚫There is going to be violence, blood, and fore in this chapter. I will put signs so you know where to skip if you are uncomfortable with these things!🚫

       Years passed on from Taehyung's birth. As the world grew and changed, so did he. When he was a young boy, he had the curiosity of a cat, always wanting to know everything! He was so full of innocence that he could've been compared to that of a priest. (AN: but seriously priests ain't innocent at all 💀) When he turned 10 it all changed though.

    It was his birthday and he was running through the halls of the palace South Wing to find his mother. He was giggling and laughing whenever the servants wished him a Happy Birthday, and just smiling for the joy of it!
He ran to his mothers room and bursted through the door only to be met with a gruesome sight.

    ⚠️ His mother laying on the bed with a man above her stabbing a dagger through her repeatedly. The blood spraying the mans face and body from the force he had used to stab her. He started cutting the mothers body in every place, while Taehyung stood there in shock and fear. The man laughed maniacally as he stared at the woman's lifeless eyes that held unshed tears. He leaned down and started licking the blood off her cuts all over her face and chest. Taehyung staggered backwards into the doorway, hitting the door causing a low thud to be heard. The man turned his head and saw the young boy, and smiled.
"Hello there." He had said in a tone that was full of borderline rage. Taehyung stared at the man in fear.
The unknown man got off his mothers bed and walked towards the Crown Prince. Taehyung, who was petrified, didn't move a muscle. When the man was withing arms length of the boy, he grabbed him by the head and threw him to the ground. Taehyung let out quiet whimpers as he hit the ground with a thump.
"You know boy," The man said, "Your mother hid you from me for so long, that I was starting to think you were dead." Taehyung looked at the man, who was now known as the Emperor, with tears in his eyes.
"You were supposed to be my legacy, my weapon, but that useless woman you called 'mother' hid you from me," he stated, "so I'm going to pay back everything she ever did to me to you."
Taehyung was scared of the look in the mans eyes and started backing away. But the man was much taller and had longer legs so he was able to grab Taehyung before he could get away. He slapped Taehyung across the face and whispered, "It's your fault shes dead." Taehyung bursted into tears as he heard this. The man began punching the young boy in the face, neck, arms, chest, and stomach. He knew there were going to be bruises left on the boy but he didn't care. He harshly kicked Taehyung in the stomach causing him to cough up blood all over himself and the floor.
The man looked at the boy and thought, "This will teach the boy a lesson." ⚠️
He walked out the room, leaving a bloodied, and bruised boy, laying on the ground with tears falling down his face.
"Mommy, why did you leave?" He asked pitifully.
"WHY DID YOU LEAVE ME?!" He wailed loudly.

Sorry for the late update! I had zero motivation what so ever to write, but I met someone (@killerkissd) in the comment section of another book called 'COLORED', which is an amazing book, who was reading this book and they gave me motivation to actually write!! So thank you!
