Anastasia was sitting on a bench in a park, holding her phone looking lost. She had always been an orphan indebted to the Grey family for taking her in when she was 5. She knew it for a long time that nobody in the family saw her as a family member.
She just wanted to complete her study and move out from the Grey house to a life like a human being. She was working towards that goal but suddenly a call from Mrs Grey shattered all her hopes and dreams.

*Few minutes earlier*
Anastasia's phone's been ringing for a long time. She knew it for a fact that the call from her mother Mrs grey was certainly not to ask her well being or anything else. It was a trap, a trap to cause her hurt and pain because it's always been like that. Even the slightest inconvenience in the life of the Grey family was her cue to listen to Mrs Grey badmouthing her but she had no other option.

She picked up the call. "Hello Mrs Grey" said Anastasia in a neutral tone. "I've fixed your marriage and the procedures will be done by tomorrow. Just sign the marriage papers without any drama as a million dollar project depends on it." These words of Mrs Grey shattered Anastasia beyond repair. "But how can you fix my marriage like that. I'm just 20 and i need to study please Mrs Grey don't do that, i beg you".

Anastasia could feel her heart thumping in her chest as the fear caused her tears to fall uncontrollably. "We've raised you for so many years. Do you have any idea how much money we've spent on you? Remember that we took you in when you had nowhere to go. And I'm not asking for your opinion. This Marriage is a done deal. So don't you dare to mess this up." And just like that she hung up the call.

By this time Anastasia was a crying mess. She couldn't believe that everything she suffered for just one hope to get free from the Grey family, was gone and shattered just like that.
Her so-called loving mother sold her off just like that for a business project. She was just a 20 year old, second year college student.
