I look through the windows and hope for better days.
At some point I wish I could start over and change my ways.
Not contorting to society or what anybody says.
Wish I could reform and set this world, my world ablaze.I look at the sky and ask myself.
If I could do things differently from the age of twelve.
Would it better my situation or make things worse.
Nothing stings more than the feeling of regret.
The missed chances, shots we didn't take.I look at the stars every night.
And reminisce about all those times.
Where everything seemed alright.
Where I didn't need to find myself and go through all the plight.
Where life was instantaneous fun, when relationships were tight.I don't look at the stars, skies nor through the windows anymore.
The past needs to be put to bed and let go.
I'm a new man learning and growing.
The seeds of destiny I've been sowing
Even though life may seem like a maze.
There's no harm in hoping for better days.
