How disconnected can we be.
To think we control everything.
None of us can actually see,
The truth unless we reminisce.
What should that mean,
To a lost soul who's witnessed many things. To the world, my love lasts forever
To myself, regrets won't last forever.
We swim in teaspoons of confusion
We demand love as if it's exclusive.
We are broken yet we remain intrusive.Above all else, we still cry
We still beg for forgiveness throughout the night.
We still evolve through time.
I still love you no matter what. This is my apology.
It may sound like a Eulogy
A funeral is in the offing.
Ego death, personality I'm lost in.Mother do not sober.
Your son might be hungover
From pride but it'll be over.
You raised some good soldiers.Brother fear not
I will be back soon
I just had an emotional hiatus
But like a full moon
I come full circle, so wait up
We still have a lot to lose.To you my darling.
I love you now, then and forever
Forgive me my darling
Know that I will never.
Get lost in those sparkling
Eyes, my heart will always remember.
The burden I threw myself
When my heart was hotter than November. To myself.
Spirits might be broken.
Hearts might be swollen.
But I love you more than ever.
That you should always remember.
I forgive you.
And this is my truth. All these feelings may make up an anthology.
I've expressed myself very poorly
But bare with me, for this is my apology.
