"So you see my sweet boy, she's absolutely perfect for you .. she's even more beautiful in person" the woman said as she poured herself some tea.
The young boy was sitting in front of his mother as she began to describe his future wife to him in detail.
"And I met your future in laws, very ... interesting people" she chuckled as she thought back on how their first interaction was anything but nice.
The doors swung open revealing The boss of Busan himself, "hello my family.. how are we today" he asked as he took his coat off and hung it on the rack.
"Mother was just telling me about my wife .. and her family" he said in a not so exciting tone, the father got a huge smile on his face when he heard the word "wife" he sat down next to his wife as he pulled out a cigar "Son .. I know this isn't what you want but this can really help us grow into a family of power" his father exclaimed as he inhaled the smoke.
"Kija .. can you please excuse me and your father" she said softly as the son got up and left the room.
"So how was our daughter in law" the man asked, pouring himself a glass of whiskey, "she's everything we could ever ask for but there's a problem" she sighed, Mr.Mun put his glass down as he listened to his wife's concerns "What are we going to do if Kija is not happy -" "Psh Leah I have told you this before, our livelihood depends on that boy marrying her, we unite them and our Mafias and when the opportunity arises we take over" he said with a smirk
The woman hesitantly smiled .. she could see her husband's priorities weren't exactly aligned with hers, she wanted her son to be genuinely happy, not just because they forced him. "We will see"
Back at the Hwang Residence
Tensions were somewhat high at the home since the day at the restaurant, the two bosses were worried but tried their hardest not to make it known. They didn't have an idea of how to handle this but one things for sure they weren't letting anyone touch their kids. The parents made it known that no one was to leave the house until they had everyone situated, It was night time and where everyone should be sound asleep, two of the Hwang children decided to go against all rules and sneak out.
Tae was eager to see his crush, he hasn't seen him in a week and for young love that was considered way too long, he decided that night he'd sneak out and come back before his parents woke up. Lily was in the same boat, for the first time ever she'd be attending her first party .. she didn't have the guts to ask her parents in time and when her friends begged her to come, she gave in. She was making her way downstairs quietly, glammed up for the party she was going to attend. She had only a day to come up with a "sneak out" plan even if the house was heavily guarded, the girl was confident. She was on her way to her "exit route" when she bumped into ... "TAE" "Lily" they whisper shouted at one another, as they both were sneaking out.
"What are you doing !" Lily whispered, Tae was also dressed up to leave "we'll I should ask you the same thing" they both stared at each other for a second.
"Alright this is the plan we both go to where we need to go and then we come home at 2 o'clock okay"
"No one will know we were gone and we don't suffer the wrath of our parents" Tae said, Lily nodded her head in agreement.
The two siblings somehow managed to slip through security and out to a car where Tae's crush was waiting, "hi Tae !" The boy said as he went in for a hug, Lily could see her brother get shy immediately which she thought she'd never see but it was so cute to witness him flustered. "Oh Kyong this is my baby sister Lily ! Lily this is Kyong" Lily bowed to the boy and gave him a smile "so this is the boy who has my brother blushing" she teased to which Tae became even more red, Kyong laughing as he saw the boy "oh shut it before I send you back inside" tae laughed, the three got into the car and headed to their destination.
"Ok so here's the address" Lily said as she pulled out her phone to show the two "You're going to his party after we told you no" Tae exclaimed. Lily sunk into her seat immediately at his response before she jolted up.
"Tae why can't I go ! My friends are all going to be there and I have never bee-" she exclaimed before she was cut off by her brothers protest.
"Lily there's a reason why we don't want you to go and it has nothing to do with me not wanting you to have fun ! The dudes a creep and he obviously wants you to go so he can pull a move on you" he said in exasperation. She rolled her eyes "you don't even know that .. you're just assuming" she sighed.
"Lily he is a 19 year old man sending a personal invite to a 15 YEAR OLD ! with a heart next to your name and a bouquet of flowers, TRUST me I know" he exclaimed, earning laughs from the girl.
"Ok what if you and Kyong go with me and I will stay with you"
"Lily, we had a night planned ..." Tae replied, and he wouldn't explain further on what that "plan" consisted of. "Tae come on, it's a win win we have fun and Lily gets to experience her first party, we both can watch her" Kyong suggested giving a wink to his new sister in law. who's smile became wide when Tae groaned "oh fine.. but please please stay with us !" He urged.
