Lily was getting dressed when she heard her phone ring, she ran over to her nightstand and answered.
Hello ?
Hey Lily ! I was wondering did you get the invitation to Geon's party ?
Lily chuckled "Yeah I just got it this morning, did you get flowers too ?"
"Flowers ? No I just got the card .. oh my gosh did he send you flowers ?"
Lily began to blush as she realized "Yeah he sent me a bouquet of Lilies" Lily could hear her friend on the other line scream and "oh my gosh" as she jumped around. Lily laughing at her friends exaggeration.
"Wait so does this mean you'll go ?
Lily stayed silent for a second before she spoke "No I don't think I can go .."
"Why ?"
"Yuna my parents are not going to let me go and do you really think my brothers will let me walk out of this house to go to a party ?" She exclaimed. She could hear her friend groaning on the other line.
"Lily ! How long are you going to suffer in silence just to make your parents and brothers happy ? You've never gone out before, I'm pretty sure if you ask them they'll say yes."
"Honey are you ready ? We're leaving in 5 minutes" Felix called from downstairs, Lily quickly hung up the phone and made her way downstairs to see her parents and brothers waiting. "They want to see what dress you choose" Felix smiled.
Lily slightly smiled back as they all headed out to the car. The driver opening the door for the kids and their parents, "No I hate sitting in the middle" Tae exclaimed. "Well I can't go in the middle I'm too tall" Haneul replied, his brother looking at him crazy "okay ? so am I"
Hyunjin already over their arguing "ok enough. can we not act foolish 5 seconds into being outside ?" he said sternly. The boys sitting down immediately.
Jinnie who was in the front with his parents called his wife to meet them there, even though he moved out and has his own life now. He loved being with his parents and siblings, he missed waking up to his mom cooking breakfast and his dad teaching them different things and he missed the fighting, even if it was annoying. Lily was busy texting her friend, Yuna was convincing Lily to go because "it's going to be fun and there will be lots of cute boys" she was scared to ask her parents for permission.. as she knew they wouldn't let her go.
Tae was in the middle of trying to convince his parents on why he should borrow the Ferrari and that he's in fact responsible, "look all I'm saying is, this could be the ultimate test to see if I'm responsible or not" he exclaimed.
Hyunjin and Felix looked at each other "but why do you need THAT car ? I have others you can borrow, that are not 400 thousand dollars." Hyunjin questioned. The boy groaned and slumped into his seat "Dad he wants to borrow it because he wants to impress this boy at school" Haneul winked, leaving his brother flustered. Felix looked back and smiled "aww my baby is in love !" The whole car teasing and laughing "ok I'm not in love but I do like him .. so that's why I need to borrow the car" Tae sighed.
Hyunjin immediately shaking his head "Fine I'll let you borrow it but don't you even think about doing ANYTHING in my car" he said sternly.
Tae was smiling ear to ear as he thanked his parents, Jinnie laughing "it's funny that you say that dad, like you and mom didn't do anything in the front seat of that car already" the whole car breaking into laughter. Felix gasped and smacked Hyunjin on the chest for laughing "No, we don't do things like that" Felix said trying to save face. Hyunjin laughing "yeah we're way more discreet then that ... which is why we were in the back seat" he laughed, the whole car becoming chaotic, Felix giving his husband a side eye "Nice, Hyunjin" he said sarcastically.
Lily who was busy in the back trying to build the confidence to ask her parents for permission,
They finally reached their destination. The guards immediately surrounding the family as they entered the dress shop, "Hi Lixie" the woman said as she ran up to him and hugged him "so I see we brought the whole family !" she exclaimed, bowing at Hyunjin and their children. Felix nodded as he smiled.
"Now where is the precious girl ?" she asked.
Lily soon appeared from behind her brothers, stunning the dress shop lady with her beauty, "oh my .. look at this beautiful girl, you and hyunjin made this child with love .. I can tell" she said as she caressed the girls face. Hyunjin and Felix standing to the side proud, "very well ! Let's get you some dresses" she clapped her hands as she guided them to a private room.
The woman went straight to work taking the girls measurements and getting her opinions on what she would like and colors and style. The woman running through the boutique getting all their inventory, to show the girl. The brothers and their parents sitting on the chairs as the girl would come out and show them dresses and go back inside, it took about an hour but they believed she finally found the one.
She came out the final time with her tiara and her hair up, to show her family the dress completely
"Ahem .. introducing Ms. Lily Aileira Hwang" she smiled as she stepped to the side revealing the girl.
Her family's mouth dropped as the girl walked out in her beautiful dress, her hair was up with a tiara placed. "Sweet- heart you look absolutely-" Felix couldn't finish as he started to get choked up, Hyunjin smiled "BEAUTIFUL, STUNNING, GORGEOUS my princess !" He said.
She looked at her brothers who were still in shock, "we love it" Jinnie said as he brought his brothers back to reality.
Felix smiled at her "we'll take it"
