It is Wednesday, a cloudy day, a few drops run down the windows of houses and the sky rumbles. Walking around Munich on rainy days is beautiful, no one dares to set foot outside and I can walk alone through the streets. Like almost every day I head for Max's house, he is going through a difficult time lately and I am the best person to be near him. I ring the doorbell of the big house and an automatic gate opens letting me through, I head to the door of the house where I find Max waiting for me with a big comfortable hug, his appearance is really horrible, he looks tired, he has big purple circles under his eyes, his nose, eyes and cheeks are red from crying and he still has tears on his face. "Poor boy, what's wrong with you?" I ask him as I hold him tightly in my arms "come in and I'll tell you", he gently takes my hand and leads me to the living room where he makes me sit on the couch with him "do you feel like telling me what's going on with you?" I squeeze his hands tightly to reassure him, he nods slowly "y/n I don't know what to do...All the people close to me are abandoning me, even my family disgusts me" tears begin to roll down his cheeks "it's all my fault I'm a shitty person I deserve it" is that what he thinks of himself? I pull him into a tight hug as I stroke his head "Max it's not your fault, really, don't give a shit about people like that. You are special and you should be proud of who you are" I caress his face wiping away a tear "thank you y/n, you are the only person I have left" Max says as he smiles bitterly at me. I move closer to his face and feel his breath on mine, I look into his eyes "I love you" I whisper on his lips. Max pulls away from me "you love me?" He says looking at me with his eyes wide "no I- pretend I didn't say anything, I better go" I get up from the couch embarrassed to leave when I feel his hand stop me by my arm "y/n wait" his hands grab my hips and his lips settle on mine in a gentle kiss, a kiss without malice "I love you too y/n" I pull him close to me "I was afraid I was going to lose you" I look him in the eyes then let him have another light kiss.
