I unlock the front door with my heart pounding and enter the house "Lando! I'm home, where are you?" I feel like the happiest person in the world "here darling" Lando pops up from the living room and leaves a light kiss on my lips "I need to tell you something important" "not now baby, I have to go out and I'm super late" he says as he runs to our room to look for something "how was your day?" He adds so as not to sound rude "fine, I have something important to tell you though, can you listen to me?" He grabs his car keys and heads for the front door "later" I stop him "no, not later. Now." I see he turns around expectantly "come on what do you have to tell me?" He looks annoyed. "Maybe you'd better sit down" I don't want to waste his time "y/n I don't have time now, either you hurry up and tell me what's up, or I'm leaving the house since I'm late" now he looks angry, I don't know why he's doing this "come on Lando you have to give me some time, I don't know how to tell you this" I hear him snort impatiently "what?" "I'm pregnant, really, I wanted it to be special" I say throwing the pregnancy test at him "wait, what?" Is that all he can say? Really? "Now you can go out with your friends and do whatever you want" I see he doesn't say anything, he takes the phone out of his pocket and dials a number "guys I can't go out with you tonight, I'm sorry" he disconnects the call and looks at me, he's so happy that even his eyes smile. He runs up to me and pulls me into a tight hug and then gently kisses my forehead "so that's it? I'm going to be dad?" I knew he'd react well, he's always liked kids, even if he's still one himself "yes Lando, you're going to be dad" a tear lines my cheek "oh, no no no y/n don't cry" he wipes away the tear and places a gentle kiss on my lips "now that I have the night off we can spend it cuddling on the couch?" I look into his eyes "thank you for staying with me, I love you" "I love you too y/n"
