~Chapter 13~

~Y/N POV~

As Midnight starts talking about the next challenge I go and tell a few of my classmates how well they did. Midnight says Izuku is worth 10 million points and I see everyone's eyes full of competitiveness on him. I feel bad for him.

As everyone starts picking teams I team up with Shinso, Aoyama, and Ojiro. Every team gets a headband with the number of points the team is worth. As soon as the round starts everyone starts sprinting to Izuku's team. Our team stays back and watches. I watch everyone and see what everyone can do and what quirks they have. I have a feeling this will help me later on in the tournament.

(shinsos team wasn't very present in this scene so idk what to put don't yell at me😭)

Izuku's team starts flying through the air above everyone with what I assume to be a support item. When they land I use my kagune to rip one of the blasters off one of the shoes there team was wearing to fly. They get back in the air and Katsuki starts going after them with his blasts. Tokoyami's dark shadow blocks him and the crowd starts cheering. Sero uses his tape to get Katsuki back and out of the air.

Present Mic starts talking about the scores and apparently Katsuki got his headband stolen. I look over and see none other than my ex Monoma.

That prick.

He put me through so much emotional trauma and made me feel worthless. I don't even know how or why I ever got with him. His narcissistic ways and lying is probably what he did to trick me into giving him a chance. But it didn't last long because he wanted things I wouldn't give him so he got bored and left, but not before making me feel like I was nothing.

I wanted Katsuki to fight back but it wasn't my place to make others do stuff for my revenge. Karma will come back to bite him in the ass someday and I will wait for that day.

Somehow our team lost the headband so we had to step it up. We start running towards the two top teams. Shoto and Izuku's team come head to head and us and a few more teams are running at Izuku's team. Denki electrocutes everyone and Momo covers them so they don't get the blast. Right after that, Sho freezes everyone in place so they can make their way to Izuku's team.

I look around and see Katsuki seething with rage at my ex. I knew his quirk it was a good one. He tried using mine and he couldn't. I don't know what would happen if he did. I don't wanna think about it.

Shoto has made a ice wall around his and Izuku's team and I can't see what's going on over there. It has me worried. I know about Izuku's quirk but I've only seen it in action a few times. Apparently Shoto's team stole the 10 million points and was bumped to first place.

Our team ended up getting third place along with Shoto's in first, Katsuki's in second, and Izuku's in fourth. Everyone gets let out for a lunch break and I notice that Izuku and Shoto are nowhere to be seen. I can't go eat so I start to look around and see them go into one of the back entrances. I sneak closer to the entrance and hide, trying to listen in.

Izuku starts talking about going back to eat with everyone and Shoto stays silent.  (are they about to makeout or what) "I was overwhelmed. And it made me break the promise I made to myself a long time ago", Shoto says. What promise? "Iida and Kaminari, Yaoyorozu and Tokoyami, Uraraka. None of them felt it. In that moment I was the only one that could sense your true power. It reminded me of something. Experiencing All Mights quirk." Izuku starts nervously talking "Oh yeahh ok.. Is that all?.." "I'm saying the power coming from you felt the same as All Mights. Midoriya tell me.. are you really All Mights secret love child or something?", Shoto says.

BHAHAHAHAH

I had to hold my laugh in so hard or they would notice me. I couldn't keep a straight face when he said that. I can only imagine how Zu is thinking right now. "Well are you?" Shoto says questioning again. I can't believe he actually said it out loud. "NO, NO WAY that's not it at all! But I guess even if I was I'd totally say I wasn't so you probably won't believe me no matter what I bet! Anyway I promise you've got the wrong idea. And why would you even think that about me", Izuku says nervously.
