I showed up at his house about 15 minutes later. Let me tell you this I was nervous as fuck. Yeah we texted but this was something different I was at his house. I walked up to the front door and ranged the doorbell. Not a second later there was Ashley opening up the door.
"Hey you made it" he said after hugging me.
"Yep I said I was coming" I replied.
"Well come in make yourself at home" he smiled at me.
He held the door open and I walked in taking in everything. I tell you this his house was huge. Mine is a decent size but his makes mine look like a shack. I was so lost in thought I didn't hear him talk to me.
"I'm sorry what did you say" I asked feeling so embarrassed.
"The living room is right around the corner and you can go pick out a movie if you would like" He said smiling.
"Oh okay" I replied walking towards the living room.
I walked into the living room and I swear his T.V looked like something you would see in a theater. I was looking through his movie collection and he had every single movie I love. He had The Nightmare Before Christmas, Edward Scissorhands, The Corpse Bride, Alice In Wonderland the new version. It was so hard to decide so I picked The Nightmare Before Christmas. Just as I picked Ashley walked in and asked what I had picked to watch.
"The Nightmare Before Christmas" I said as I held it up.
"Is that okay with you?" I asked
"Yea it's actually one of my favorites to be honest" he said smiling.
"Same" I replied.
I put in the movie and went and sat down on the couch as he called in pizza for us but I wasn't gonna eat. He came and sat down next to me and put his arm around my shoulder and looked over and smiled at me. I just smiled back as he started the movie. About halfway through the movie he looked at me and made me lay on his chest. I looked up at him and smiled. I was so lost in the movie that I barely heard him say the certain words that made my heart melt.
" We can live like Jack and Sally if you want to" he said while looking at me.
Those little words from blink 182 made my heart flutter and I looked up at him. He just stared into my eyes and I did the same until he started to lean down and getting closer to my lips. He was just millimeters from my lips when the doorbell rung. I got off his chest as he got up to get the door. I silently cursed whoever decided to interrupt our little moment. He came back with the pizza in his hands. I sat up as he brought the pizza into the room and sat it on the coffee table. He left to go get some plates and paper towels. I just sat there staring at the pizza it looked good but I couldn't eat anything. It would ruin everything. I started to get flashbacks from high school. The cruel words everyone would say to me. About me being to big and that I shouldn't eat. From then on I barely ate the only time I would is when Amber made me. She helped me through so many things I trusted her with everything. I didn't know I was crying until I felt them on my cheeks. I mentally cursed myself as I wiped the tears from my eyes. As soon as I did that Ashley walked in and sat down the plates and napkins. He grabbed him a slice of pizza and told me to get some. I just stared at it and started crying again. I got up and ran outside with tears streaming down my face. I ended up sitting underneath the tree in his yard just crying. I didn't notice someone sit down next to me until I felt arms wrap around me. I just sat there crying with him rubbing my arm and telling me it's okay. When I got done crying I looked at him and apologize.
"It's okay hun" he said as he wiped the few remaining tears from my eyes.
I just smiled and laid down on his chest as he continued to rub my arms.
"Are you okay?" He asked me while continuing to hold me.
"Yea I'm fine" I said as I just sat there enjoying what he was doing.
"Would you like to talk about it?" He asked.
I noded before telling him why I ran out and why I couldn't eat anything. He just listened and when I finished is when he finally spoke.
"You are beautiful and don't let anyone tell you different" he said
"And all those people are jerks and can't see true beauty like I can" he finished.
"Thanks it truly means a lot coming from you" I said looking at tne stars.
"Anytime beautiful" he said looking at me.
I looked over at him and smiled. He looked at me and I saw so much adoration in his eyes. He started to lean in for the second time this night and so did I and when I felt his breath on my lips he kissed me. It didn't take me long to kiss back. I tell you what the kiss was magical. I felt like I was supposed to be here with him. It was so wonderful but it ended so soon. He just looked at me and kissed my forehead and I put my head on his chest. He put his head on top of mine and we just stayed there looking at the stars. I knew that something would finally go right in this life. And tonight was that wonderful thing that I was waiting for
