I walked into the tattoo shop about 8 a.m the next morning. Amber was already there setting up everything she had Pandora playing like normal, but she wasn't playing Black Veil Brides like always.
"Hey Amber?" I said.
"Hmmm" she replied.
"Who is this playing on Pandora?" I asked.
"Ohhh it's Set It Off" she answered.
I was confused we've always played BVB it was just strange that she didn't play them this morning. Well they sound good whoever they are.
"Sooo" she said.
"Sooo" I replied.
"How was your date?" She asked.
"It was eventful" I said.
"Ooo I need details" she said.
So I told her what happened that night. I told her about me running out and him coming after me. I told her about the kiss and she made a weird noise like she always does. She's a little strange sometimes but I love her dearly.
"Well that's cute. Are you going on another date?" She asked.
"I don't know maybe" I said.
"Ooooo you got to tell me everything if you do" she said.
"How was your night?" I asked.
"It was good I met a new guy" she said.
"Who?" I asked.
"His name is Cody Carson. He's nice and he sings." She said.
"What band?" I asked
"Set It Off we're listening to them now" she squeled.
"So you finally over Andy?" I asked?
"Yea him and Juliet are together so I have no chance. Plus Cody is cuter" she replied.
"Well you ready to start the day?" I asked.
"Ready as always" she laughed.
So with that we started our day. People came in and out and like always everyone loved our work. Finally at 2 that afternoon we actually sat down for a while.
"So Amber what's been going on with you?" I asked.
"Nothing really just the same old things." She said.
"Hey KitKat?"
"Yes Amber"
"Can you give me a tattoo?"
"Sure let's get started"
"Okay"
I sat there and did her tattoo it wasn't that big, so it didn't take long. It's a song lyric from one of her favorite songs, which she has 5 million. It says "Even Sitting In The Closet Chilling With The Skeletons You Fight". She always wanted this tattoo but didn't have time to get it. So she finally had time and I'm glad I could do it for her. When I finished she thanked me for the tattoo anf said she was going home early. After she left I just sat around and texted Ashley and played games on my phone for about 30 minutes. That's when I heard one of the worst things that could happen to my best friend.
"Excuse me sir can you repeat that for me?" I said
"Miss. Schneider was in a car accident about 15 minutes ago and you're on her in case of emergency list in her phone." He said
"Is...is...she okay?" I was basically crying at this point I couldn't lose her.
"Ma'am we cannot give information over the phone but if you come to Herman's Hospital then you can get your information." The man said.
This couldn't be happening. I grabed my keys and ran out the door to start my car. I was crying the whole way to the hospital. When I got there I ran to the front desk.
"Amber Schneider please." I said
"If you could go through those doors and take a right that'll take you to the surgery waiting room and you can ask there." The lady said.
I ran through those doors and when I got to the waiting room I saw Ashlee, Tyler, Korina, and Sara there with tears running down their faces.
"Have you heard anything?" I asked them.
"They said that they have to remove some glass from her chest but she should be fine. They're not real positive though." Sara told me through her sobs.
"Ohh my god... oh my god.... this can't be happening!" I whispered to myself. I can't imagine how Sara is feeling because she is Amber's partner in crime, sister, shit even our Mama Sara. She wouldn't make it without her. None of us would we couldn't live without her. She always said she was nevered loved, but all of us loved her so much. I just slid down the wall onto the ground and cried, praying she would be okay. She has to be I wouldn't live without her, none of these people in this room would.
