It has been a week since you started working, the business has been booming and your pay increased to 2,000 berries. You've grown comfortable with this environment. This would be your new home and you were sure of it. Now there were only a couple of things to do before officially staying here.
"Hey, Makino-san?"
Makino turned to you, she smiled her sweet smile and said,
"Yes, sweetheart?"
"Would you mind if I moved in fully and started working here regularly?"
This is the moment of truth...
"Sure! Go ahead, your help has really helped the business. I wouldn't mind at all!"
Your life was set, you has a good job with a secure home, and you were in heaven.

"Hey Makino-san, I have something I need to do, I'll be right back."

You dashed to the docks. There you saw the kind elder man who let you dock there for longer than you paid for.
"Hello, sir!"
"Why hello there. Oh! You're that young lady from a week ago... What brings you here today? You still have time for your selected dock."
"Well, I was wondering if I could have a permanent spot on the dock. Could you do that?"
"Why of course! You can either pay all of it upfront or pay over time. The cost would be 10,000 berries. We'll also maintain the dock for you, it's included."
The kind old man even included dock cleaning for you. What a kind old man.
You paid the man and went back onto your boat. You collected some things you wanted for your room and left for the building. Everything was nicely shoved into your bag and you were in a relatively good mood that day. Everything was going your way and you were very happy about it.

Y'know what? Fuck what I said earlier. This fucker just ruined my day.
"Wanna spend the night at mine?" The man in front of you said with a sly smirk. He had his two guys behind him. This guy just knew the perfect way to get on your nerves, and he was using it to his fucking goddam advantage.
