Sweet Y/N. She didn't care what most people thought about her. Y/n just turned 18 and she's a senior in high school. The girl was literally just trying to get out of school so she can move out of her aunts house. Her aunt sucked. Low key. She just never actually cared and her bf had touched Y/n a couple of times. That's mostly why Y/n didn't care what people thought. That part of her was numb.

Y/N sat in Chemistry. Her lab partner, Sean, had poured in some random chemical compounds when Y/N was off in space. BOOM! Y/n jumped up and the teacher ran over to them making sure they were okay and after, scolded the pair for being stupid. They both got detention. Y/n didn't talk to Sean for the rest of the day.

After school that day, Y/n didn't wanna go home, so she went to a diner. This diner was special. It's where Ian works at. Y/n walked in and sat down in her spot in the corner booth. "Your usual?" Ian asked. Y/n nodded. Minutes later, (your favorite soup) was right out. You smiled at Ian. He smiled back. Unexpectedly, he sits down across from you. You look him up and down.

"How have you been Y/n?" His eyes are staring right into yours. You're awkward so you look away, but he still looks into them.

"I could be better... but I'm trying my best to get out of my aunts, y'know all about it." You awkwardly laughed at the end of your sentence. Ian just smiles at you.

"Do you need a place to live asap? I've been looking for a roommate. My landlord priced the rent up DOUBLE the amount it used to be. Would you happen to want to stay at mine for a while?" He kept staring at you also while smiling. It was unnerving. You've only know Ian for 5 months, and you hadn't really talked to him.

At this point you were very desperate to find a place... wheels started to move in your head. 'His rent was cheap, till his landlord doubled it. And Aunt asshole will end up kicking me out asap after I graduate anyways...' because you're stupid and the plot needs to move forward, you agreed.

"Okay, I can be your roommate."

"REALLY?!" Ian jumped up. He was too excited for this. You felt awkward as everyone looked over at you and Ian. You shushed him.

Ian sat back down. "Okay, great, when do you wanna move in?" His eyes looked like those anime star eyes or whatever. Anyways, he's asking me when I want to move in. So he doesn't care when.

"Any time. Just before I graduate..." you smiled at him and he was already smiling back at you. He nodded his head, agreeing. "Alright. How about tomorrow? I can help you move your stuff!" Woah, woah, woah... he wants me to move in so soon? I mean there's not a reason I shouldn't... right? You rest your elbow on the table and your face resting into your hand. Maybe I should. It'll be quick and easy.

"Okay, I can do that." His smile stayed plastered on his face. I can't believe that I'm about to move in with a random guy. You grab your wallet and grab the exact amount of cash for the soup and your drink. You shove it over to Ian. "I'll see you tomorrow, after school, I'll meet you here and we can head over to my aunts while she's out of town. K?" He nodded his head. "Bye Ian... and thanks." You gave him a sweet smile.
