She doesn't like getting too close to people, for she fears losing them, but when someone does get close she is actually quite soft and caring. She is kind and enjoys helping others, but to everyone she isn't close to she presents her kindness quite harshly. ( "Just don't die on me you idiot.")

Backstory: Amethyst was born to a demon mother and a Shadowhunter father. Her mother seduced her father into thinking she was his wife and conceived Amethyst. Instead of killing her once she was born she dropped baby Amethyst on the doorstep to her families estate. Her Step-Mother never held any hostility towards her or her father, and her Step-Mother even named her. She grew up as if she was a part of the family. She got mixed up in some Unseelie Court affairs on accident which left her scarred, physically, mentally, and emotionally. Her family was also relocated to Japan. When she was out with one of her older brothers she came across the Demon Slayers. Amethyst proposed they worked together, seeing as their goals were the same.
