Chapter 1

(Y/n) went past the gate, as the fifth s-rank that did not join any guild despite being pursued by many including the five big guilds. She joined a random guild to complete the headcount and most of the gate was A-rank. At times she would raid alone just for fun, while the others would wait from outside. She would come out of the gate with blood all over her hand.

She tried her best to hide her smile as she finally can go back to Korea to meet Sung Jin Woo. "Ms (Y/n), could you tell us the reason why you refuse to join any guild?", one of the reporters asked as she was going back to her car. She smiled brightly, "I want to join a guild where my man is in", she immediately went inside the car and the driver drove off to the international airport, leaving reporters speechless as to whom the beauty hunter was talking about. She was so excited to meet Sung Jin Woo after a year of going through raids across the world with different types of hunters. Some of the S hunters were going for her head but every time they tried killing her, their bodies ended up either missing or unrecognizable after it, i. Other words completely mutilated. Although there were some of the S hunters that are oddly attracted to her way of killing the monsters and how she dealt with society in general.

The bustling sounds of people and the flashes of the camera indicate that she arrived at Incheon International airport. Her assistant blocked anyone from disturbing her peace before showing her news that a few days ago, there was a double dungeon and that there were survivors from the double dungeon. One name made her heart drop, she clutched the tablet lightly, "bring me to him,.... now!", she seethed, and without realizing the tablet she held already shattered into pieces.

"Follow me, Ms.", her assistant guided her to the car prepared by her second assistant.

Her murderous intent was flaring to the point of making her driver tremble. "Which ward is he in?". The assistant that was sitting on the passenger seat gave her another different tablet, "This is his location, he had been unconscious for two days already". She read the document through the tablet and glared, 'If double dungeon even appears again, I'll murder all of them off so no one will get to see the light of life', she grinned widely and chuckled.

The driver was sweating buckets, as the color of his face drained. The assistant could only grip his seat tightly in hopes that she would return to her normal happy self. Not this type of smile to be exact. Soon enough, they arrived at the hospital and (Y/n) rushed into his room. To only see him sitting on his bed.

"J-J-", she stuttered, her eyes brimming with tears. The dark-haired male turned his head to see the girl he hadn't seen in a year. "You're back, (nickname)", he awkwardly smiles as he didn't expect her to come. "Jinu!!", she engulfed him in a tight hug but not too tight since he was still recovering. "I'm so glad you're alive!", she cried out loud.

"You've grown taller..", he sighed to himself as he lightly patted her back. (y/n) jolted up from the hug but still had her arms around his torso, "I-I'm sorry for being taller....", she looked away in embarrassment, 'Should I just cut off a portion of my legs and reattached my feet..... surely I can find the best healers around the world to reattach my feet back..', she thought to herself. For Jin Woo it was pretty evident what she was thinking so he laughed out loud, "Don't even think about cutting off your legs, (nickname)".

Her eyes widened, "then perhaps if I squeezed myself into a sma-". "Nope, you don't have to do that either", he smiled softly at her. He was the only weakness she had, if anything bad happens to Jin Woo, she would've killed everyone and then herself after that. She stared into his eyes, making him blush in response. She is a beauty after all.

She wrapped her arms again around his torso and rest her head on his beating heartbeat whilst he stroked her silky hair. However, her affectionate time with Jin Woo halted as she senses two familiar aura closing the distance between them as the door slammed open.

Two gentlemen entered the room. She decided to stick with her friendly façade in front of Jin Woo. She pulled away lightly and smiled at the new visitors, it was Woo Jin Chul and another man who carried the mana meter. He was surprised to see the SSS-rank hunter hanging (literally) around the world's weakest hunter.

Woo Jin Chul bowed his head to her, "Good evening Ms. (y/n), I didn't know you were here". She turned her head and smiled, "What brings you.. Ah? Did you perhaps assume that my Jinu has reawakening?". 'My Jinu..?', he thought before he cleared his throat and nodded his head, "since he has survived the double gate, we believed he had undergone a reawakening".

She started at him then at the mana meter, "alright then", she got up and turned around back to Jin Woo as she held his hand in her, "Reawaken or not, I'd still cherish you, Jinu♡︎", she smiled sweetly at him making him feel warm at heart. He nodded his head and returned the gesture.

"Well then, Sung Jin Woo place your hand on the mana meter", Woo Jin Chul demanded. Despite that, he was disappointed as he saw the meter was only 10 which was the lowest of the lowest, even lower than an average E-rank. "I wasted my time, I will leave, thank you for your time Ms (Y/n), and Sung Jin Woo", he bowed his head and left the room.

(Y/n) smiled to herself, 'Now I can be alone again with my Jinu~♡︎', she glomped him again making him laugh as he only stared at the screen in front of him that he wondered if she could see it too. "Hmm? Your sister", she muttered, warning him that his sister is going to enter the room.

"Oppa!", Jinah yelled as she slammed the door open, "you always keep on getting hurt every time you got out from a dungeon, why don't you-? Oh! (Y/n)-eonni! You're here!", her eyes sparkled as she saw a beauty wrapped around her brother, which was a rare occasion unless it was (Y/n). "Jinah~ I'm back from Japan", she pulled away and waved hello to Jinah.

Jinah hugged the older girl, "Ooo ~ you've been getting nice assets since you left". (Y/n) was caught off guard by her words as she blushed profusely, "I get that I'm getting taller, oh I also bought souvenirs from the countries I visited, I think my assistants already sent them to your place", she checked her phone for updates from her assistants and she smiled, "yeap they already did".

"Really?? You're the best eonni!", she hugged her again completely forgetting the reason why she was at the hospital in the first place. Until her brother asked bluntly, "Hey Jinah, can you see this?", he pointed right in front of his face. (Y/n) just studied him and his words as both of them had their own conversation before Jinah left to go back.

"What is it?", she decided to ask him while sitting on the bed next to him, "You know you can tell me anything, right Jinu~". Jin Woo hesitated at first before saying, "I can see a hologram right in front of me, it says I'm a player". "It's like a game then? What does it say?", she asked while resting her head on his shoulder.

He hummed in response while gazing into nothingness. "It said that I will get a penalty if I don't finish working out within the next 12 hours", he cocked his head to the side where her head lay. "Shouldn't you be doing that then? You won't know what the penalty entails", she blushed even more as she got excited at the distance between them.

He heaved out an exasperated sigh, "nah~ I'll just rest a bit and think about it later". "Hm~ if you say so, Jinu~", she played with his free hand with an evident smile on her face. "How was your journey as a national hunter?", he asked as he watched her fiddle with his fingers. She turned around and was face to face with him, the distance was so close that he could feel her warm breath on his face.

His face flushed in return. "It was boring! But...... If you were there with me, I would've been ecstatic", she teased jokingly making him even redder. He looked away and avoided her eyes with a shy gaze. "What happened?", he slowly asked. The two talked for the long hours until both were asleep on the hospital bed.
