Malaya Johnson

"Hey Ms. Monroe," I said as I walked in the library. She smiled before waving at me.

"Hey Malaya, what you doing here?" She questioned.

"It's raining, so I'm just gone stay here for a while and catch up on my books, if that's fine with you,"

"It's fine, I was just wondering," I nodded before making my way to one of the couches in the sitting area which was the reading area.

I sat down, and took one of my books called "One In A Milyon" out. It was a very good book and I enjoyed reading it.

As soon as I started reading Ms. Monroe interrupted me- "Malaya do you mind filing this folders for me?"

I looked up and nodded before placing my book back into my bookbag. I was just getting into the good part when Shy was found on Milyon and Carti doorstep.

I stood up and walked over to where Ms. Monroe was at, and started grabbing folders and filing them.

A few hours later I was finished and noticed that it stopped raining through the big library window.

But then I saw that it was very dark outside. I sighed noticing I lost track of time, I then quickly grabbed my book bag.

"Bye Ms. Monroe, see you tomorrow,"

"Bye Malaya, and thank you!" She stated as I left. I sent a quick you welcome before leaving.

I walked down the dark school hallway as I made my way out the school. As soon as I opened the door to leave the school I noticed how dark it was.

It looked even doctor than it was before. How could it get so dark so fast.

I knew I was messed up, how was I'm going to walk all the way to my home, and plus it wasn't even safe.

Lord please help me.
