As I walked in I heard my mother say from her chair "what are you doing out so late?" "I was just hanging out with Ethan and we lost track of time playing board games" I replied. "Okay sweetie go get changed and then come join me with some dessert" she said back.
"Okay I will be right back" I replied. I started walking but I heard my mom say something under her breath. She is probably suspicious but I can't tell her the full truth at least just not yet.
