SEYLU IMAGINED HER FAMILY'S REACTIONS to her inevitable death many times. In her scenarios, her parents were alive and healthy, and her siblings were too. It's all she thought of when she swam for her life, pulling her dying best friend with her. It's all she thought of when she realized she was in the midst of a war earlier that day. It's all she thought of as she held Tuk on her back while they swam back to the sinking ship.

"Stay close." Neytiri warned as she, her daughters, Spider and Seylu reached the ship again, walking further into it. Seylu dropped Tuk to the ground, Neytiri and Seylu each having a hand on her, Seylu guiding herself by the fire around her.

Water was quickly flowing into an open hatch of the ship, the force of it making Seylu lose her footing, falling into the hatch as everyone screamed around her, she held the edges of the hatch, yelling out as she held on, Neytiri holding her arm.

But Tuk moved to help her, and she screamed as she fell down the hatch. "Tuk!" Seylu yelled at the same time as Neytiri, immediately letting go of the hatch to follow Neteyam's baby sister. Neytiri had followed them both, Seylu could tell by Kiri's shouts.

The fast water moved the three Na'vi through the ship, Seylu having a tight hold on Tuk. "Mom! Mom!" Tuk yelled, panting as the ship continued to fill with sea water.

They found a flight of stairs, Seylu pushing Tuk up them. "Swim, swim." Seylu repeated, Neytiri following them as they fought against the water.

"Go, girls. Climb up." Neytiri instructed, the girls crouching as the metal of the ship fell apart around them.

They crawled through a dark hallway, Seylu blindly following Tuk. "Mom..." Tuk trailed off as water followed them.

"Run!" Neytiri instructed as the ship began turning.

Tuk slid into the wall, screaming. "Go, I have you!" Seylu shouted to Tuk, grabbing her small body and continuing to move as quickly as she could with nothing but her ears to lead her.

Seylu held the creaking walls with her hand, needing something to help as they ran as quickly as they could through the water, trying to find a way out. "Seylu!" Neytiri yelled, pointing to a door.

"Open it!" Tuk yelled as Seylu and Neytiri placed their hands upon it, the two women grunting and groaning as their combined strength heaved the heavy door open.

Seylu was pushed under the water as she opened the door, pulling herself up with a gasp. "Move back. Move back." Neytiri told Tuk, pushing her and Seylu through the opening.

The water deepened, and Tuk clutched Seylu with a scream when they made it to the other side, the younger girl accidentally sinking the older, Neytiri picking her up by her arm. Seylu almost smiled at the fact that there were lights in this part of the ship, allowing her to see.

Neytiri found a spot to get to higher ground, away from the water. "Climb! Come on." she yelled to Tuk, helping Seylu up next.

The wall they were scaling was too narrow, so Seylu pulled Tuk onto her back, the girl wrapping her arms tightly around Seylu's neck. "Keep going up! Come on!" Seylu said to Neytiri, reaching her arm down for the mother to grip as she stabilized herself.

The ship rolled over as they climbed, and Neytiri and Seylu had to use the opposite wall, Tuk still latched on Seylu's strong body. "Climb, Seylu! You can do it!" Neytiri shouted as they cleared onto another level, water following quickly after them.
