WHEN SEYLU WAS YOUNG, SHE always hoped that her mate would be a warrior like her, so they could hunt together and fight together. As she grew older, Seylu realized this wish was unrealistic, because she had high expectations and would not budge on them. Luckily, Neteyam Sully exceeded her expectations, in a way she didn't even think was possible.

Seylu swam towards the ship, finding Malha defending Payakan from a small human ship. "Malha!" she yelled, breaking the surface. "Is Payakan your mate?" Seylu asked her tulkun, who sang a response as she wrapped a cable around hers and Payakan's heads.

'Yes!'Malha responded excitedly, tugging the human ship with her as Seylu smiled, pulling on Ouali's saddle and jerking him up towards the air. He flew her towards the main ship, and she jumped off of him, rolling forward and landing on her feet with her spears drawn.

Imagine the girl's surprise when she looked to her left, seeing Neteyam and his ilu jump from the water at the same time, her mate landing on the ship as well as Tuk cheered his name. "Fancy seeing you here." Seylu commented, sinking a spear into a robot, killing the person inside.

Neteyam smiled, swinging his legs over the railing to land on the ship. "I heard you needed me. Is your leg okay?" he said with a wink, before becoming concerned , pulling out his knife.

Seylu rolled her eyes, taking her spear from the dead human's chest. "I am dramatic, and I am fine." was all she said as Neteyam began cutting Tsireya free.

"Hey, baby brother. Need some help?" Neteyam asked Lo'ak, slicing Tsireya's orange band.

"I gave him my knife." Seylu said, finding her small crafted weapon lodged into the ship.

Lo'ak rolled his eyes. "Look at my hands." he said, gesturing to them as Neteyam began to cut Tuk free.

"Do you think I can see that?" Seylu said pointedly, embracing her younger sister and Tuk quickly as they were both freed.

"Get Tuk out of here." Neteyam said to his mate as Lo'ak urged him to hurry and cut his binds away.

Seylu shook her head, lightly kissing her sister's head. "Get away from here. Swim fast." she said, and Tsireya nodded, jumping into the water with Tuk at her side.

"Who's the Mighty Warrior? Come on. Say it." Neteyam teased his younger brother as he sliced away his orange bands.

"Seylu is, bro!" Lo'ak said, pointing at the girl who was collecting one of her spears once Neteyam freed him.

Neteyam sighed heavily, looking at his mate. "I told you to go." he said, following her towards the water.

"Yeah, and I didn't listen." she winked, turning around to find Lo'ak grabbing a weapon from a dead captor.

"Lo'ak!" Neteyam growled at his brother, knelt beside Seylu.

They ran over to him as he lifted the weapon. "They've got Spider. We've gotta get him. Come on," Lo'ak said, standing. Seylu had no clue who they were talking about. "Come on, bro. We can't leave him." Lo'ak pleaded.

Neteyam looked down at the ground, snarling in frustration before he stood, running after Lo'ak with Seylu's hand in his. "What is a 'Spider'?" Seylu asked as they ran, her hair falling from its bun, leaving her with a bunch of it tied down her back.
