*Louis' P.O.V*

I stumbled through the large double doors of the hotel we were staying at, blindly making a run for the elevator. Tears blurred my vision and my body pained with grief. The ping signalled that the elevator had opened its doors to me and was willing to transport me to my room.

When I reached the floor I was staying on, I collapsed at the door of the room I had booked. The sobs shook my body with such force I thought I was going to be sick. Pushing my back against the door, I threw my head back and let out a mangled cry that made me shed more tears. In the short span of two seconds, I had lost my wife and my baby sister to the cunning tricks of Death.

Man, did I miss Molly and Taliaha.

*Liam's P.O.V*

Louis had rushed off after a rather intense phone call and he wasn't answering his phone, most likely for that reason. Maybe it would be best if I paid my best friend a visit.

I tapped my knuckles against the wood of the door, praying he would answer. I cleared my throat, waiting for him to crack open the door.

He never did.

"Louis, mate, are you okay in there?" I pondered, my voice laced with concern. "Can you come open the door, mate?"

There was no response. I rested my hand on the door handle and twisted it. Surprisingly, the door swung open and revealed a trashed room. Anything and everything was shattered, thrown or damaged. It looked like a war zone in here.

"Louis, are you in here?" I called, stepping cautiously into the battlefield. Loud sobbing filled my ears, telling me something was horribly wrong.  I weaved my way towards the source of the sound and found the shaking figure of Louis Tomlinson. I kneeled beside him. As I opened my mouth to speak, my phone pierced through the silence.

"Hello?" I answered. I was greeted by the low voice of Niall who was obviously on the verge of tears. "What's going on?"

"Liam, Harry has been involved in a horrible which killed four people. He has only just walked away himself and is laying in the hospital bed beside me, his heart beating by the assistance on machines. Can you please bring Louis over so we can talk to him about his wife and sister?" Niall explained, sniffling. I felt very worried as to why they wanted to talk about Louis' family but that's none of my business. Just as my finger flicked up to press end, Niall began to talk again.

"Liam, I hate to tell you this but ... Sophia, Paul, Taliaha and Molly were the four that were killed."

The words sent a wave of nausea through me and I flicked my gaze down to Louis who's head was still in his hands.

"I'll be right over," I squeaked, shoving the phone into my back pocket. I dragged Lou down to the car, keeping myself in one piece the whole time.

When we stepped into the private room, the atmosphere was so tense I could have cut it with scissors. Louis staggered back when he saw the lifeless body of someone being wheeled past us, his hands pressed against his temples. He let out a strangled cry before darting away from me and disappearing down the hallway. Only as my eyes landed on the messed up body of Harry did I feel the grief flood my bloodstream. I fell to my knees and pressed my forehead to the cold linoleum of the floor, attempting to shut it out again.

"IT WAS ALL HIS FAULT!" I wailed, almost choking on my tears. A new bodyguard apologized before injecting me with something that made me pass out.

HAI GUYS! I'm sorry for killing them off but ther ejust had to be a tiwst in there somewhere. Plus 'Fortis' actually means 'Brave' in Hebrew and this is a Louis book so Louis had to be the strong one so that's where I got the idea from. SORREH YET AGAIN!!
