My eyes were glued on the figure that was slowly making her way towards the back of the room. Her naturally black hair was a pale blue and her body was changed in a way that showed she was carrying a child.
"Holy fucking shit," I breathed, my eyes glued to the girl waltzing through the joint. Liam still watched me like I was crazy.
"Louis, what's bothering you?" Liam questioned, trying to get my attention again. I gestured towards the woman. Liam followed it and his jaw dropped.
"Well I'll be damned! That chick looks like Molly..."
He didn't even have time to finish his sentence before I had started to make my way towards the girl that I had married. As I stood beside her and reached for her hand, she flinched and her eyes met mine. She seemed to loose her breath and it felt like I was falling in love all over again.
"Excuse me? Can I help you?"
The world seemed to stop turning and come crashing down around me.
"Molly? It's me, Louis, your husband?" I announced, my voice creaking. The look a like gave me a once over, pity filling her eyes.
"I'm sorry, I don't believe I know you," She said carefully. I threw myself onto the girl that I wished was mine.
"No, no, no! NO! Molly, you have to remember me! The car accident must have messed with your memory. We need to get you to a hospital right a way," I gushed, pushing the pregnant towards the door.
"Woaaaa! Hold your horses there Louis!" Liam shouted, separating me from the woman. "I am so sorry! He has been going through a lot lately and he lost his wife who is a dead ringer of you, take that as a compliment."
Molly smiled at me and she said everything was fine but the words that I heard fall from her mouth as I was forced outside into the cold made me reconsider my whole life.
"I can't believe that I've hurt him that much, it almost makes me want to go back to him."
